I work at a Tim Horton's at night.
They always have still fresh donuts that are thrown out.
My family is sick of donuts and I gained 15 lbs. working there.
I thought, hey cops like donuts. But I was afraid it might also pizz them off and they would slap the cuffs on me.

If universal health care goes into existence will only the working class and the poor have to be controlled by the governments health plan, while the rich go to the best doctors and private hospitals? How do you think it will work? Will you have to be screened for health care and put on a waiting list?

i was in a few bands and wrote a bunch of songs, and was going to sign all of these songs over to my friend chris and my friend mike told me to sign them over to him. so i wrote up a contract stating that since i was moving that my friend mike could have all of the songs mentioned and so on. this is a handwritten contract between the 2 of us and his wife signed it as a witness. i never moved though, and i figured he would of ripped the contract up, but my question is, is that since it says im signing the songs over to him because im moving, and i didnt move, is this contract even valid? because i didnt move and that was the reason stated for signing this stuff over to begin with. can you help me here?? hahaha thanks
-mark

the contract basically just said that since i am moving, i will signing these songs over to my friend so and so. and it said the contract could be changed by either one of us once i returned. but i never moved. i dont think this contract is a valid contract at all.

"I now saw the liberal attitude of this press in a different light; the lofty
tone in which it answered attacks and its method of killing them with silence
now revealed itself to me as a trick as clever as it was treacherous;
gentle pinpricks against [Our President] revealed its methods by their persistency,
and so did its commendation of French culture and civilization."

I haven't met anyone who wants to vote for any of them or honestly think any of them will win, so why all the attention on them? And who would you vote for? Why? Why not?

Just interested in getting some opinions of how people feel modern effective professional forces, such as 16 Air Assault battalion or the RAR would adapt to massive static defences such as on the Western Front. I am hypothesising that they would have the modern availability of combined arms assault, or try to utilise the massive wave assault of the era (as obviously troop numbers are insufficient and the modern soldier is much more valuable in terms of invested training etc) Do people feel it would be possible with fire and move and modern techniques to overcome such static defences??

For those of you who have seen the Loose change video or ones similar or just heard the facts of why people think that 9/11 may have been set up by our own U.S. government, what do you think?

I like many others was completely devasted on 9/11, after watching Loose Change I honestly believe it to some extent. Now, I am PISSED. I am mad that I only have seen this on the internet, is anyone going to take this further? I want to see this on tv. I want other people to at least see the facts that I saw.

The thing that convinced me to believe Loose Change was 1. The Twin Towers collapsing looked identically to buildings that demolished by control and they focus in on small explosions going off on each floor, also people who worked in the towers said they had mysterious "construction" work a few weeks prior and no one knew what they were doing.

Right now I am just saying I am unsure, but it is freaking scary not knowing for sure either way. That is why I want to know more opinions???

-ACKERMAN: Isn't it true, General, Al-Qaeda in Iraq formed in 2005?

-PETRAEUS: Senator, I'm not saying when it started. I'm saying merely that Al-Qaeda/Iraq clearly is part of the overall greater Al-Qaeda network.

-ACKERMAN: But they didn't exist --

-PETRAEUS: -- first communications, and there is no question also but that Al-Qaeda/Iraq is a key element in igniting the ethnic sectarian violence.

-PETRAEUS: They have been, in effect, an element that has poured gas on burning embers with the bombing of the Golden Dome Mosque, for example, and with efforts that they have tried recently, for example, bombing the poor Yazidi villages in northwestern Iraq and so forth.

-ACKERMAN: Are they a threat to us?

-PETRAEUS: Al-Qaeda central is a threat to us.

My father is a ex-marine. He use to do that every morning before I went to school. I remember automatically, lol, sitting up in the bed, when he called me. Another thing that he did was try to make us call him "sir" until I convinced him that only people that don't know each other use that word and I told him that "dad" shows more love. I convinced him. lol

On September 11, 2007 a Public Rally was held in Brussels to protest the actions of Islamic Extremists. The Mayor of Brussels banned the Rally but it took place anyway and 147 peaceful Protestors were arrested. They were protesting (marching and holding banners). Many went to the Rally just to support Free Speech.

They were Protesting the actions of Islamic Extremists on 9/11 2001 and the Islam-ification of Europe. There have been 9457 Deadly Islamic Extremist attacks since 9/11.

Bear in mind that Muslims carried Banners all across Europe over the Danish Cartoons but also in Brussels with slogans like;
"Death to America"
"Death to Infidels"
"Behead anyone who insults Islam"
In Brussels Cars were burned and people were injured but nobody was arrested (unlike the U.K. where most were arrested for inciting hatred).

Muslims have no problem with protesting Cartoons but are silent when it comes to Honor Killings, Extremist Attacks and abuses of Human Rights.

Is Free Speech Dead?
