I haven't met anyone who wants to vote for any of them or honestly think any of them will win, so why all the attention on them? And who would you vote for? Why? Why not?

I am voting for Obama, and not because he is raising the most money, because he isn't fudging his books, and others are actually contributing to see him elected because his message is clear. http://barackobama.com

Front runners (a dumb term in all elections for whom the three top candidates are - or, those that are raising the most money and likely to win):

(This is as of 6/30/07, and does not include the money from "loans" from candidates or from "authorized committees" which is one of the same.)

Obama-58,610,749.62

Clinton-.53,072,594.44
(she added $10 Million to make it look like she was leading in raising money, this is the accurate amount she raised, and who knows if she hasn't added money in other names to get this figure, I would not put it past her, she is too desperate - makes you wonder what other illegal land deals, etc she is up to - as that was one of the problems her husband had)

Romney-35,044,174.46
Giuliani-33,547,792.28
McCain-24,945,777.58
Edwards-23,059,412.47
Richardson-13,264,264.05
Dodd-7,298,487.88
Biden-.4,467,403.49
Paul-3,006,891.61
Tancredo-2,755,709.81
Brownback-2,736,107.96
Huckabee-1,308,497.78
Hunter-1,310,281.76
Kucinich-1,116,714.71
Thompson-788,611.04
Gilmore-356,886.16
Gravel-175,229.58

They are leading in the polls currently and are the ones that represent what the media can grasp with respect to Democratic idealogy focus this cycle...Change vs experience. However, I do agree with you.....I don't see either getting nominated. If 2004 taught me anything, it's that the DNC wants general elections winners (though I was curious why Gebhart wasn't nominated but oh well) with the Dean thing. Eventually the party will wake up and see that Clinton has a 40% vote against issue and as polls have shown, the party doesn't believe that the nation is ready for a black president (or woman). This leaves Edwards or what I remember being called "the person we really should have put up in 2004 instead of Kerry".

Because the media has decided to focus on them for some reason. CNN, MSNBC and Fox News act like there is no one else running for the Democratic Nomination. It's completely outrageous, anyone who thinks the Media doesn't inlfuence elections needs to take a look at how they're reporting the Democratic primaries, the media acts as if Obama and Hillary are the only two trying to get the nomination!
They have not been quite as bad when discussing Republicans but the media still mostly focuses on Giuliani and Romney and now that Thompson is running they are giving him a little bit more attention.
The media pisses me off sometimes!

Because if Clinton becomes President then, there is going to be a huge Terrorist Attack on American Soil and She will have caused it by being the First Female President of the United States. And as for Obama, He's snaking around Martin Luther's Dream so he can become the first Black President of the United States and both stand to make history as not so with the others. The race to the Presidency and the outcome is not going to be a pretty one. One of them 2 will be elected. Either one "will" create a havoc in some sort or fashion So, they may as well be in the media now. The media likes ' The First Ever" And those two have the opportunity to become the first ever. You vote, A black president or a female president ? This is what the media is after.

Obama and Clinton are getting more attention because they have squared off and acknowledged each other and no one else. Its like the Coke-Pepsi taste challenge, notice they don't include other soft drinks such as dr pepper or RC cola. This secures them as #1 and #2, all that is left is to fight over which is which. Another example is ford and Chevy. they compare against each other and purposely avoid mentioning companies like Pontiac in their commercials.

Because the media wants one of them to win.

I think that since they both are on board with the "new" Democrat congress, which has apparently disappointed America, judging by their record-setting "unfavorable" ratings, none of them have a chance.

Because one is a woman and one is African-American. But according to an article on Alternet.org, we may have already had our first African-American Presiden in Warren Harding, who some say his grandmother was Black.

Because one is part black and the other is a female. I had much respect for Obama...until I heard his tirade about government bail outs for home foreclosures. I have never respected Hillary.

Because the media is mostly liberal and because we've never had a black or female president. Of course Obama isn't black, he's BIRACIAL, but the media doesn't know the difference.
