Yup, he would have made a fine president, easily bought.

In 1996 Clinton started the Commission on Aviation Safety and Security and made Gore commission chairman. They pretty much knew there was terrorist trouble coming though the airports. (because of Trans World Airlines Flight 800)
Gore then had some meetings and made some recommendations for security, like things to improve airport screening, criminal background and FBI fingerprint on employees etc. The airports whined that it was too costly and Gore let all the planned airport security measures be dropped, forgotten. The NEXT day the airports started making democratic donations ($627,000 total) . . Thanks AL for 9/11!

Trans World Airlines donated $40,000 to the Democratic National Committee.
$265,000 from American Airlines,
$120,000 from Delta Air Lines,
$115,000 from United Air Lines,
$87,000 from Northwest Airlines,

from Boston Globe by the Center for Responsive Politics, which tracks donations.

Al Gore is an idiot.

Shouting 'save the planet' while flying around in a personal jet and living in a mansion is just a bit too preachy for me.

Let me ask you if you would vote for...

A man that lost a highly publicized election.
Ran off into the woods for three years.
Came back looking like Grizzlie Adams.
Immediately started saying the end of the world is coming.

Most people would start holding their children tighter when they see this man. The man you think would be a good president

Ron Paul. The best president America will never have.

If you haven't seen Ron Paul talk about the issues, I highly suggest you watch him. I've seen Al Gore in action. Ron Paul is about 50 times more impressive. They don't share the same agenda, in many cases. But...Ron Paul has a sincere hatred of 'big government'. It's a refreshing view to hear from a politician.

I think he is goofy. His claim to have created the internet started me thinking that way but his outrageous global warming really did him in for me. He wastes more power and fuel in a day than most of us do in a month but he wants US to sacrifice.

It depends, if you want a tree-hugger or a strong leader, to lead the greatest country in the world! He'd probably want to save the caribou in Alaska instead of keeping our borders safe!
