Neither of them has any more credibility whatsoever. The General handled them quite easily, however their attempts to discredit him, in wartime, before his report was released, for no other reason other than political gain, brings utter shame to a once great party. This is perhaps the lowest point the democrats have reached in the history of their party. The most disgusting thing about it is that they feel no shame whatsoever. JFK, Harry Truman and Franklin Roosevelt must all be turning over in their graves with humiliation at what has happened since they were in power. The Democrat party, which was once the inspiring party that brought us through the great depression and WWII has been stolen from the American people without a shot being fired, and the sad fact is that through miseducation and indifference, most of them are not even aware of this shameful fact.

I'll be more specific.
My nation had a very strong and effective leader for 32 years before the US tired of him & replaced him with 'democracy'.
Since former President Suharto's forced abdication- all indicators for standard of living have dropped to far below than the worst of the Asian financial crisis (curiously enough exacerbated by following IMF advice to the letter).
Our poor were once ascending- now we have at least 50 million struggling on less than 50 US cents per day. All subsidies enabling them to survive reasonably (cooking fuel, cooking oil, rice, water, health, education) have been slashed (cheers IMF again).
Democracy was heralded as our saviour- but it hasn't delivered.
To me it only benefits the elites to become wealthier than ever and the foolish bourgeois believing they are either helping the lower classes or helping themselves ascending in class- reality is
they are powerless & insignificant

Is democracy a poorer form of governance than monarchistic rule?

I think that if we ever really wanted to find Osama Bid Ladin we would have found him by now.

Is it possible that the USA could be hiding him in a retreat somwhere like in Cambodia or some other country, just so we could continue to keep the US military bases in the Middle-East? If Osama Bin Ladin were captured or killed, we really woudn't have any excuses to remain in the Middleeast.

82,000 gallons of liquid propane fuel needed to transported from Kuwait to Baghdad. This is a distance of approx 300 miles. If you ask the transportation industry what that would cost to transport they would tell you approx $3000 US dollars or $10,000 if it was a government contract. The corrupt company of the Vice President of America, Halliburton was paid $27,500,000 US dollars for transporting 82,000 gallons of fuel from Kuwait to Baghdad. If that isn't 100% stealing from the US tax payer I don't know what is.
