Do you think you prefer she is alive to alleviate your suffering rather than thinking of the consequences if that beautiful child is being held and abused. I think from Maddies point she would be better in heaven where there is no suffering. Time is a great healer and yes you are both innocent of any crime I think you may have stirred up too much trouble and Portugal has a shady history on child abuduction starting right at the top of the tree.

East?

You should research the US history of interfering for selfish gain.

You should also research who sold the chemical weapons (eg poison gas) that Saddam used to massacre the Kurds.

In the 2004 video, ObL was wearing dirty military field fatigues, his beard was gray and unkempt, the video was shot outside....basically he looked like a man on the run.

In the most recent video, he is wearing clean robes, his hair and beard are dyed black, he is giving his propagnda speech in a clean environment.....basically he looked like a man getting ready to watch TV and relax for the evening in his Lazy Boy recliner.

If Osama was still being actively hunted by US forces, would he look so relaxed and at ease?

Basically, how can some of our friends on the left be all for abortion but not like war? I tend to think I am more of a liberal in that I did people and think people should be free to make their own choices in life. I just can’t get past the blatant hypocrisy of endorsing abortion while screaming peace. The average global monthly abortion rate is about a million; the total over the last 80 years is about 900,000,000. Add up every war, and plague and we don’t even get close to that number. Tell me why peace people would support abortion.

US is and has been a leader in many categories, from science to economy. US has a great history of accomplishments; capability to accomplish ANYTHING; we are the leaders in space exploration, no one will catch up to us anytime soon, regardless how bad our economy and crooked our political system gets.

So here it is, please don't tell me that a country with this strength and greatness, # 1) didn't know anything about 9/11 prior to it and # 2) don't know where Bin Laden is. We Americans are getting to be too gullible, wake up people!

In the days that followed 9/11/01 I saw an American Flag in every window. We all united for awhile it seemed. Now I ask on the 6th anniversary can we still stand united and set aside being a Republican or Democrate forget our opinions and our differences. Can we show respect and honor to those who lost their lives and those who still grieve the loss of their loved ones. Please reply with your agreement to stand with me.. lets see how many answers we can get!

These types of questions solve nothing and only aggravate the situation and the division between the Dems and Repubs.
I want a solution to the problems in Iraq.
I want to know why the US has to be the ones who foot the bill for a unnecessary war.
What should we do? We can't pull out cause the US will look like a idiot, and the country will likely fall under the control of someone even more against the US than Hussein was, and we can't stay cause it will bankrupt the country. What are we going to do this hurricane season with so many National Guard in Iraq?
It is obvious to me that all Bush wants to do is sit on his thumb until his term is over so somebody else can make the tough choice.
Thanks George.

All nationalities of Eurpoean nature have entered this country, some legally but by an large most illegally. In fact, most immigrants lied about who they actually were (names changed) and where they really came from (nation or town of origin) to enter this country at the beginning of the century. Most of these ethnic groups actually came here with a discriminate attitude towards people of color, engaged in criminal activity, created a society of division/divide amongst other ethnic groups, stole, usurped and robbed the native people of the land, their rights and freedoms. SO why are we sooooooo terrified of Mexicans?????

Iran is hell bent on getting nuclear weopons, and will not hesitate to use them on us, directly or indirectly. Had both sides beat each other to death, we'd have so many fewer problems than we do now.

I just recently got another speeding ticket. Is that ticket from 5 years ago still in the system even though it was dismissed? Could I do a PJ since I never had one?

I have two close friends, for the sake of argument, I will call them A and B. A is a US Citizen and B is here illegally. B has been here since he was a child, he tried to get his papers but was unable and was ordered to leave the country. Needless to say, he is still here.

Recently I have discovered that A helped B get a US passport under his name. All the information on the passport is A's but has B's picture on it. My question is twofold:

1. Personally I have no problem with B being in the US, even illegally. Now they have commited a crime and I am aware of it, what should I do?

2. How were they able to do it? A is caucasion and B is Hispanic; they look nothing alike. Does the passport agency not check anything before they issue them? I would have thought that somehow they verify the picture, though I do not know how?

consider it a win?

It is quite obvious by thier classless smearing of General Petraeus that they can not and will not accept any good news from the war on terror. They have invested themselves in defeat. As if we didn't know this for a long time now. You hear it in all their leaders.... "we can't win... we will never win.... we need to pull out now".

Is failure the motto of the democratic party?

I don't know about you... but I really get inspired when I hear my leaders or mentors say... "Now lets get out there and LOSE!"

As a registered Democrat I am standing with the Democratic front runners for president and I agree that we need to Concede Defeat in the war in IRAQ, I say YES to Cut and run, Give up in defeat, Get out of IRAQ, Split, Concede defeat, Run and don"T look back. Let them fend for themselves, Run and Hide, Head for the hills, Cut tail and run, Leave the fight. Hillary is right. Osama Obama is right when they say O.K. it's time to get out. I believe that we can take whatever they send to us. We handled the world trade towers O.K. Send them here we will show them. Stand together American Democrats - our leaders who want to be President of the U.S. are right. We can retreat and still stand TALL. Americans can take on the fight on here at home. I am willing as a Democrat to support our leaders and say that they Know what is best for me.Hillary in '08. Don't forget we get two for the price of one.Lets walk away with pride.
