if you make more than $50,000 a year, they consider you to be rich.

My questions are: what category do you fall into? and

do you believe people who make more than $50,000 a year should pay more taxes?

Where do you get your information that the democrats consider anyone making over $50K to be rich? Did you make that up yourself (As it certainly is not part of the Democratic policy, and is simply ludicrous to even claim), or did you hear it from Rush?

People who make more than $50,000 a year should pay more taxes? Only on the excess of $50,000, is justified.

You don't have to make that much for the Dems to want to raise taxes on you. The proposed gas tax and cigarette tax that are already floating around Congress will actually hit the poor the hardest.

For all their talk about sticking it to the rich, these are the only tax increases they have actually legislatively proposed this year.

According to the Dems, I am rich. And I already pay too much in taxes! See link to see who pays what in taxes in the US. The top 5% pay 50% of the taxes in the US!
