Do you think you prefer she is alive to alleviate your suffering rather than thinking of the consequences if that beautiful child is being held and abused. I think from Maddies point she would be better in heaven where there is no suffering. Time is a great healer and yes you are both innocent of any crime I think you may have stirred up too much trouble and Portugal has a shady history on child abuduction starting right at the top of the tree.

If as parents they were so worried about "our lovely Madeleine" that they've abandoned with the twins for a bit of fun (14 bottles of wine the friends said) and don't give a s**t for what's happening...
I have a daughter poor child don't even want to think how she felt (kidnapping or murder) before and after.
And if you refer to Portugal with child abduction (learn to spell), please don't be ignorant, study first, check the numbers of Scotland Yard and you will know that that "history" belongs to England and the Portuguese "history" should be followed from the same.

shady history on child abduction. Their child wouldn't have been abducted if they had not left her alone, with two 2 year olds! Even if they had nothing to do with her dissapearence, they should feel very guilty about not being there. Perhaps they will learn that you are ment to look after your children, not just abandon them alone in a strage country.
