Kinda goofy huh?
Much the same as us not being able to spank them for doing something wrong so they grow up to be productive citizens... yet our justice system sees fit to imprison them for possessing marijuana. All the while, child molesters walk freely among our children.

I hate when people say "Send our children to war" First off this isn't 1967. Every person in the military was an adult and chose to join the military, when you join the military you know you will be defending this country and that means you may go to battle, even if you don't agree with the battle.
We can argue about the need for this war, and we can agrue what message this war sends to our kids. But until you and your lefty friends understand that all of those in the military made a decision to defend this country don't use them as a sympathy pawn in your argument.

the persons at the back of this conflict could in no way admit they have been performing as bullies. Commander Bush is purely too lots of a bully to even evaluate it, and the generals do purely his bidding. The troops do the generals' bidding. conflict industries are reaping extensive revenue, so as that they do no longer care, and person-friendly human beings, like the electorate, have been duped into questioning the conflict is approximately terrorism. It replaced into like this throughout the early stages of the Vietnam conflict, too, different than that the boogeyman replaced into Communism that element around. yet decrease back then, there replaced right into a draft, and school scholars began protesting. while the protests have been given loud sufficient, the "Hawks," as we reported as them, had to tug out of Vietnam. you're impressive in questioning that as quickly as the international's greatest defense force forces invades a 0.33 international usa and destroys their way of existence, this is bullying.

Telling kids that fighting doesn't solve anything doesn't properly work when violence in games and TV shows surround them in everyday life. Its like they are being programed for battle at a young age.

So you are saying if you were at the grocery store, and a woman just walked up the your child and punch him/her in the face, you would do nothing.
At what point do you say, I'm not going to stand for this?
Do you feel any obligation to protect someone that you do not know?
I guess that's why I spent 20 years in the Navy, because I do feel I have an obligation.

I don't agree that we should never fight but I do think we should see what the root of the problem is first and to find other means to solve it first. Fighting should always be the last resort.

I teach my child to stand up for what he believes in and to stand up and protect himself. I teach him not to start a fight, but beat the hell out of someone if they throw the 1st punch.
Those who hate America threw more than one punch.
America's soldiers are protecting us.
Nobody WANTS war, but sometimes it is necessary when we have threats from another country.
99% of our soldiers will tell you that they are doing what they think is right. The media will not air that part ofcourse....
I am thankful for our brave troops who keep our country safe.

Always has been, always will be warfare, from the beginning of time till present and beyond, will always occur. To teach your child that fighting solves nothing is alittle naive.

Fighting for the sake of fighting does not solve anything.
Standing up for what you believe in is honorable and brave. Some things are worth fighting for.
The trick is teaching your children to be able to discern the difference.

We lie to our kids to keep them safe.
Fighting is often the only answer/last option.
War has solved a lot of things ask the Jewish people who survived the Holocaust.
Ask the American Indian if they think they should have fought harder.
Ask an American-of-African decent if we should have fought to end slavery.
Ask the British if fighting Nazis was pointless.
