It's been three years since we saw this guy and he chooses now to release a video? Now that the congress is taking reports from Gen. Patraeus that could determine how soon we leave Iraq? Now that anyone who wants to leave Iraq now will seem to be echoing exactly what Bin Laden said? Doesn't it seem that if he wanted us to leave Iraq, sooner rather than later, now would be the time that he would make himself scarce? This is the guy who orchestrated the most successful attack upon the US in history and he chooses now to put out a video containing rhetoric that makes everyone who wants to leave Iraq sound just like him?

what I mean is they clearly have had an agenda to change the USA drastically for some years now.....and if you listen to them our judges have been awful, our trade policies of the past were awful, balance budgets were awful, balance trading was awful, jobs here for americans was awful, government investing in our infrastructure was awful, food inspections was awful, import inspections was awful, our avoidance of war was awful, social security was awful,

see what I mean? I mean if you listen to conservatives, its like the USA was a failed state and they have been for the last decade trying to save it. But look at where conservative thinking and republican policies have taken us....

Don't get me wrong, I'm not a fan of Brown or the Labour party, but there have been three ocassions since Blair left that I thought would be the typical Government screw up and all three occasions it has not been as bad as I thought.

I mean the response to the terror attacks, the flooding over the summer and more recently the foot in mouth - which the EU is imminently declaring the UK free of.

In previous examples of all three cases, its been a total disaster... and while in some cases there was no way to WIN per say, at least decisive action stopped us losing by as much as we could have.

I sort of grudgingly feel that perhaps credit is due to the government for dealing with things well.

What are your opinions?

My question is really simple. Why would the Bush Admintsration want to kill over 3,000 lives. Or demolish buildings that they would have to rebuild.

First it was Abdul Rehman Jinnah the terrorist now Hsu. She says she knew nothing about their backgrounds. Ok lets pretend for a minute that we believe this. Why would a crook give money to Hillary and pressure others to do so as well? Is it just because they love her so much (as I think she wants us to believe) or is it because they know she has a reputation for selling influence and power? Think about it? Do you really believe these two crooks gave her money because they liked her politics so much...

My sister's FIL recently passed away and left all his possessions to his only child, my sister's husband. The thing is this, the FIL was a widower and had remarried, the new wife is now contesting the will, stating that she has legal right to all her husband's possessions.

Things with the new wife came to light after she refused to put her husband in assisted living due to his poor health, even though several doctors recommended placement. My BIL went to get his dad earlier this year to offer respite for the new wife, but she refused to allow my BIL into the home to gather items his dad would need during his (dad's) stay, only allowed him to pick up his dad and leave. She then demanded my BIL bring his father home because the dad had changed his will to reflect his son as DPOA, giving the son legal right to make health care decisions for him.

Can she win the contest of the will? Many people know how she was with money and do not want her to have any legal rights now.

If the Presidential Debates were fair and every candidate had to respond to every question about each issue presented with equal time limits, what would those issues/questions be that you would like each candidate to answer?

No attacks, no personal questions - one question, addressed to all candidates of both parties, that would determine who gets your vote.

Such as the native populations of South East Asian countries like Burma (now Mynamar), Cambodia, Thailand, Malaysia (which didn't exist then), Indonesia (also didn't really exist)?

Is anyone aware that in my country, over 2 million are known to have died from starvation, forced work and general savagery of the Japanese- maybe as high as 5 million?

Is it because we don't bang on about it all the time like the Jews?

Can we get some memorials too then?

police protection, fire services, roads and transport services, a military, etc be paid for through taxes. Surely these are not basic human rights.

Why don't conservatives want people to pay private insurance for roads, police forces, fire services, the military, nuclear weapons, parks, schools, libraries, beaches, and every other dam thing that taxes are spent on?

What makes a police force more important than health? What makes roads more important than health?

Somebody recently asked a question about going on hols to the Dominican republic in Sept. I told them to think twice as its the hurrican season. But others were encouraging the person to go. If they went based on the info they received, and got injured or worse. Could the person start litigation.
I see so many wholly incorrect answers on this site that could lead to problems if taken seriously. Seems to me some people just want their 2 points regardless of the answer. Anybody else thought the same?

Within the EU, governments retain sole responsibility for levels of taxation on personal incomes and company profits. What a EU taxation policy would do is ensure that tax rules are consistent with the goals of job creation, the EU’s competitiveness, the single market and free movement of capital.

Some argue that member states are best placed to take appropriate economic measures for their country. Others argue that greater economic and fiscal coordination is required between member states.

So are you in favour of a European tax? If so or not, why?

Whatever your political feelings are, please take a moment to remember those who died on this day.

This video, set to Darryl Worley's song is very powerful:

Please save your hate comments and war rhetoric for another day.
Please spend a moment today in silent prayer for those who died and the families and friends they left behind.

God bless our troops! And may God bless America!

After listening to his testimony and comments from troops on the ground, there seems to be a glimmer of hope to a secure conclusion to the strife in Iraq.
The U.S. counter insurgency methods seem to be having a positive effect in the region. Does his timeline for the draw down of troops seem reasonable?
Of course the million dollar question is: Will the Iraqi government get their act together during that time?
