I have wondered the same thing myself, so I went and looked for information about it. He does kind of resemble Red Skelton, doesn't he? According to Wikipedia, his father was a decorated WWII veteran, and not Red Skelton. Whether there is a familial connection with the comedian is not addressed in the article.
