it seems that questions or answers posted over the last month or so that are even SLIGHTLY critical of the left are either removed by the comrades from yahoo or reported faster than ever by the 'pc' police who use this forum...anyone else concerned about this? and yes, i know yahoo is a public forum run by a private corporation and as such has the right to dictate policy, but i feel like i'm watching a rerun from communist russia.

I had an account with over 8000 points suspended for posting a Pro-war with Iran viewpoint. As you can see with the current crop of questions, questions calling for the President's assassination are fine.

Not really. You will need to provide examples of " SLIGHTLY critical" statements. Are they or are they not in compliance with community standards?
I have had questions re instated and points returned after a protest or two. I think this process is fair.

hmmmm
i don't see that at all
But I do see where I've gotten several violations from Cons when I "QUOTE THE PRESIDENT"
I mean how ashamed of this man can you folks be when you give someone a violation for quoting him ???
HERE IS THE QUOTE
flip
"The most important thing is for us to find Osama bin Laden. It is our number one priority and we will not rest until we find him." G.W. Bush, 9/13/01
Washington Post, 9/17/01, UPI: Bush said he wants accused terrorist leader Osama bin Laden "dead or alive.” “I want justice...There's an old poster out West, as I recall, that said, 'Wanted: Dead or Alive,'"- G.W. Bush, 9/17/01, UPI
AP, 12/14/01: President Bush pledged anew Friday that Osama bin Laden will be taken "dead or alive."
FLOP: Capturing OBL no longer a priority:
G.W. Bush, 3/13/02: I don't know where Bin Laden is. I have no idea and really don't care. It's not that important. It's not our priority."

I think you'll find that ALL extremist answers are deleted, both by the left and right. Everyone claims that THEIR side is the one that is wronged, that anything critical of the government or environmentalism - or anything that is un-pc is deleted, and that the fascists/communists at yahoo are in the pocket of the republican/democrat party.

Yahoo is becoming more right-wing. Totally objective and innocuous comments by liberals are being removed with increasing frequency. Fortunately, there is an appeal process but your answer has been removed in the meantime.

Actually no - I think redneckism is completely evident - look at the speed, content and volume of text of answers to any question even hinting at the possibility of man made global warming. The first and biggest answers are nearly always the same sub-group of naysayers and denyers - could it be they are a paid lobby ? ?
nah...

Say anything provocative at all and get flamed by 'report'ers, it happens regardless of your politics or lack of them. This community moderated stuff has issues, sort of like a poor Repuglican. (It's like slapping yourself in the face.)
