US is and has been a leader in many categories, from science to economy. US has a great history of accomplishments; capability to accomplish ANYTHING; we are the leaders in space exploration, no one will catch up to us anytime soon, regardless how bad our economy and crooked our political system gets.

So here it is, please don't tell me that a country with this strength and greatness, # 1) didn't know anything about 9/11 prior to it and # 2) don't know where Bin Laden is. We Americans are getting to be too gullible, wake up people!

I agree! I can't help but think that if we were capable of capturing a man who was in no way involved in the 9/11 attacks, we certainly could have captured the main culprit, Osama bin Laden, and brought him to justice! I just think this proves that Bush never really cared about bringing bin Laden to justice for the 3,000 who were murdered on 9/11/01, and instead saw the attacks as a golden opportunity to do what he's always wanted to do, and that is, invade Iraq!

1) with the US intelligence agencies being what they are, there had to be some knowledge concerning the threat before it was carried out. There's no way they were completely oblivious to at least the knowledge of the suspicion of the threat. Perhaps they didn't take it seriously enough and that's why they didn't take more precautionary measures. To believe otherwise would be foolish and naive.

2) For the same reasons as stated above.... there's no logical explanation as to why he as not already been found and brought to justice. You can't tell me that the CIA and SS etc can find anybody else on the stinking planet if they wanted to but this man is just so clever that they cannot locate him after 6 years. He's not that smart, and if they, (those that work for our government I.A's) are that dumb or inept.... erm, they should all be fired and smarter people should take the job.

But there are other political motivations involved that are influencing the decision to proceed further, and that has kept this man as an outlaw for this long a time. It's not just about finding BinLaden, but its about all our other dealings in the middle east that gives the US the right to go into other countries and do what they want, even though it's under the guise of hunting down a criminal..... if it were really ONLY about capturing a terrorist..... erm, he'd of been apprehended in less than a year after the attacks.

I totally disagree with you. Yes we probably got some intelligences saying that a terrorist attack my occur. But if you read George Tenet book, the CIA Director, He said we get intelligences everyday saying someone wants to harm our country. The hardest thing to do is to locate one man. Yes we may have had our opportunities to keep Bin Laden, but you have to remember that he is just a symbol. I think sometimes we need to give the government a break. I just do not understand Americans, we trust Corporations more than we trust the government, and it is the Corporations who is infringing on our civil liberties

human beings could awaken. no count if Osama improve into to blame for the deaths of those interior the 9/11 assaults or no longer there is incontrovertible info that the U.S. government improve into no longer purely attentive to the coming near attack yet in addition allowed it to ensue. The U.S. MADE Osama Bin weighted down and gave him the weapons and aspects mandatory to win the war against the Soviets in Afghanistan. i individually don't have faith Osama improve into in a position to orchestrate such an attack devoid of the help of U.S. government insiders.
