82,000 gallons of liquid propane fuel needed to transported from Kuwait to Baghdad. This is a distance of approx 300 miles. If you ask the transportation industry what that would cost to transport they would tell you approx $3000 US dollars or $10,000 if it was a government contract. The corrupt company of the Vice President of America, Halliburton was paid $27,500,000 US dollars for transporting 82,000 gallons of fuel from Kuwait to Baghdad. If that isn't 100% stealing from the US tax payer I don't know what is.

Actually Cheney does not hold any stock options in Halliburton. Thats a myth thats been spread since 2001. Before Cheney assumed office, He signed over all his Halliburton Stock option to a irrevocable trust before he took office. The "Gift Trust Agreement" the Cheney's signed two days before he took office turns over power of attorney to a trust administrator to sell the options at some future time and to give the after-tax profits to three charities. The agreement specifies that 40% will go to the University of Wyoming (Cheney's home state), 40% will go to George Washington University's medical faculty to be used for tax-exempt charitable purposes, and 20% will go to Capital Partners for Education, a charity that provides financial aid for low-income students in Washington, DC to attend private and religious schools. Your beating a dead horse.

This is just one of many scandals concerning Halliburton that have surfaced during the Bush/Cheney years, and yes, one might have thought there were laws on conflict-of-interest that protected the taxpayers from the outright graft involved. Dick Cheney receives $1 million annually from Halliburton, which is deposited into a trust until he leaves office, and this alone should have been enough to preclude the awarding of no-bid contracts to his former company. Instead, we have witnessed a continuous string of overcharges, accounting "blunders," quality control problems, non-delivery of vital supplies, and the movement of Halliburton world headquarters out of the U.S. to Dubai, costing the American taxpayers billions. It's impossible to believe we have no law preventing this sort of behavior, and that no law enforcement agency is willing to charge the Vice-President for conspiring to bilk the public.

This whole war is fought on the pretext of "TERROR". Under the flap, it is being fought for Corporate America to make as much money as possible. $75 cases of coke(multiply that by 100,000 cases). No bid contracts to rebuild the infrastructure of Iraq(we aren't even rebuilding our own) with inferior materials that are already falling apart. Keeping a government in power that by all measurements is dysfunctional thereby insuring the perpetuation of this war. The disappearance of billions of dollars & nobody knows where it went. What??? We put just enough troops in Iraq to keep the war going. Never enough to defeat the opposition. We could have won the war long ago & saved the lives of many Americans & Iraqis. This administration never intended to win. How many generals told Rumsfield "we need more troops to win"? how long did they last after they expressed their beliefs. Cheney is one of the worst people in our government. His influence with Bush was unbelievable. That is how Haliburton got into the ground floor in this war. To repay America for the billions the made on this war they moved to Dubai.... Final thought, this administration is tradiing our military blood for MONEY!!!!!

Well i am not an American but I did watch Fahrenheit 911 Michael Moore's film recently, and find the whole lot of Bush's administration to be an unscrupulous, thieving, greedy, lying bunch of individuals and i am not saying we don't have that here, but i was amazed out the way people have been completely bamboozled by these people. And the fact that on the day of the 911 bombings something like 25 members of Bin Ladens family were put on private planes to go back to Saudi Arabia. Outrageous.
