I'm rather annoyed by people who ***** and complain about others who say immigration in general (not ILLEGAL) is good for the country.

NO. Everyone thinks Illegals are only Mexican people. They are not. There are other countries where people come to the USA to make a better life. They come here to work hard, (and they do) to support their families. Parts of their families are here and some are back home. They don't always send money home, they need to support themselves here also. Wouldn't you help a family member of yours if they needed? Families lend money to each other for many reasons. I do, don't you. One more thing. Turn the tables around. Put yourself in their position. Just think about it. I could go on but I do not think it would open your mind up very much. A little prejudice also. I do not mean to be rude. You are the one that asked the question. Everyone has their own opinion. This world was started by immigrants. (Ellis Island, Pilgrims etc.) With that said the answer to your question from me is NO. I do think that everyone, from anywhere, has the right to learn and better themselves.

You know what really drains our economy, medical services, judicial system and schools? Stupid Americans who feel entitled for some reason to think they are better than all other peoples of the Earth. They make no effort to better themselves or anyone else in any aspect of life. Their hobbies include collecting welfare, social security and medicare benefits, and trying to exploit any other social service as much as possible. They are generally illiterate, hate-mongering, and amazingly uneducated and uninformed. Their opinions are formed by 30 second television spots, slick one-line soundbites and shiny billboard and magazine graphics...much like it seems yours are as well.
I hate to burst your bubble, but the reason that Mexicans are able to send so much money back to Mexico, is BECAUSE THEY WORK!!!!!!!!! HARD!!!!!!!!! ALL DAY EVERY DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have never met a social group in America that works half as hard as any of the immigrant groups, illegal or not. You can go down the line...Chinese, Korean, Indian, Persian, Philipino...they all work as hard or harder than any American.
Seeing as the workhorses of our Economy...immigrants and teenagers (whether illegal or not), provide the majority of labor for undesireable jobs, and the revenue in taxes from those goods and services that they provide actually funds the educational system, the health care system and the justice system, I would say they have just as much right to those social services as anyone else.
As for the lazy mexicans that hang out in front of Home Depot all over town, they represent a tiny fraction of a tiny percentage of the true problem, so if you really don't care abotu the issue enough to properly understand it, and your only beef is what your streetcorner looks like, then get over yourself! You always have the right to move to the middle of America where everyone is white, religious and borderline mentally handi-capped...whatever makes you happy.

I used to but after my sister& my co-worker who is a 100% all american family with sons in the army and one a cop.... they tried to get her husband/ wife legalized the "correct" way... and the government gave them 10 years in Mexico in order to become a legal citizen... and they didnt have any criminal records .... 10 years! no wonder there are alot of illegals using all of the free medical services, not paying taxes, getting all the education for free, some even raping, killing, stealing and not giving a sh*t because 98% of the people are NOT going to wait TEN years!!! they have nothing to loose! they might get deported but in less then 3 hours they are back in the U.S....my co-worker son has a 4 year old baby so how are they going to do it , drive to t.j cross the border to see his wife and baby... then drive back to U.S. to go work as a police officer in L.A..... but i know understand alot of them try to do it the correct way but its almost impossible so why not ?

No. If you were in the agriculture industry throughout the States or part of a myriad of small entrepreneurs paying low wages, or in an activity which Americans do not want to soil their hands & back their backs, you would agree. Banning illegial immigration would gut the underbelly of our economy. Go ahead and research it.

Being not from US but from Western-Europe I am interested in the people who say so.. Who says that illegal immigration is good for a state and with which reasons?
I can think of plenty of reasons for the mostly poor people who do so. But which advantages should a state have?
Maybe that jobs are taken which no one else want to do? But why would u need illegal immigrants for that? There are plenty of legal poor immigrants I assume...Furthermore illegals do not pay taxes..
Why should ILLEGAL immigrants be good for a country??!!

Illegal immigration is also causing the class divisions to grow. The working American has to compete with 20 million illegals, so he/she cannot demand a higher wage if so many are willing to work for less. And I thought the Dems were for the working man, I guess they are for whoever will vote for them.
Edit: Rja, the founding fathrs didn't come to America illegally they conquered the Native Americans for it. There's a difference, and btw that's how all countries are started.

individuals got here from virtually each and every the place. i think of the subject right this is approximately obtainable suicide bombers. human beings concern muslims because of the violence some inflict..and the muslims concern the persons because of the fact they experience they would be discriminated against. Then the two look detrimental in direction of one yet another. Its one enormous mess. Iam a christian. I do my ultimate to get to correctly known each and anyone who touches my existence. in the event that they're undesirable to me I stroll away. I wont bypass judgement on every person else whilst i'm no longer applicable myself.

In the short term illegal immigrants pay into the Social Security system which is almost bankrupt.

They also provide recruits for the military.

But not all of them pay taxes.

In the long term Amnesty Will Cost U.S. Taxpayers at Least $2.6 Trillion.

Tancredo, Ron Paul, and Hunter have the most conservative voting records on immigration.

http://www.betterimmigration.com/candidates/2006/prez08_gop1.html
Of these three, Ron Paul has the best chance of winning the Primary election.
Paul's campaign has almost 4 times as much money to spend as Tancredo.

Ron Paul has stated that he wants very strong borders and he was appalled that our government had taken border guards off of our borders to send them to Iraq.
http://www.lewrockwell.com/orig8/haman3.html
This is his six point plan:
Physically secure our borders and coastlines. We must do whatever it takes to control entry into our country before we undertake complicated immigration reform proposals.
Enforce visa rules. Immigration officials must track visa holders and deport anyone who overstays their visa or otherwise violates U.S. law. This is especially important when we recall that a number of 9/11 terrorists had expired visas.
No amnesty. Estimates suggest that 10 to 20 million people are in our country illegally. That’s a lot of people to reward for breaking our laws.
No welfare for illegal aliens. Americans have welcomed immigrants who seek opportunity, work hard, and play by the rules. But taxpayers should not pay for illegal immigrants who use hospitals, clinics, schools, roads, and social services.
End birthright citizenship. As long as illegal immigrants know their children born here will be citizens, the incentive to enter the U.S. illegally will remain strong.
Pass true immigration reform. The current system is incoherent and unfair. But current reform proposals would allow up to 60 million more immigrants into our country, according to the Heritage Foundation. This is insanity. Legal immigrants from all countries should face the same rules and waiting periods.

The NAFTA Superhighway might be another significant threat to American borders.

What are you going to tell me that you are willing to stand around fields collecting produce, for $4 an hour? OH you're saying that you'd rather pay twice as much for your vegetables. oh I see. If you cant see HOW much work is being done by immigrants that actually American citizens would see as beneath them. How many times did you go by the watermelon fields and find full grown adult white men harvesting? I know when I was a kid I had a job doing just that, and I will tell you the only ones willing to do that work are immigrants.

I am not sure how anyone could make that argument and keep a straight face. Most people on both sides of the aisle do not favor illegal immigration...our representatives are another story.
