Ok so every other day on the radio I hear...

"Four Canadian soldiers were wounded today when their 'X' hit an 'X'" or something along those lines...

Just wondering; is there a site where it lists the Insurgent casualties?

I know that it might be hard to get an estimate on these things, but there must be some way of knowing?

Do any of you folks out there think that government has been taken from the people and that it drives us to conformity? Consider this, through actions by our government the expression of faith has been severely limited and nearly expunged from the public eye. Was not religion, a source of moral clarity and a means of civic guidance? What will happen to a nation with no morality or sense of decency?
Already I see the effects in young school children who quite shockingly speak of sex, and violence as though it were of no consequence. Such children even go so far as to cuss at adults! What say you people of yahoo!

I got word for another associate that they are going to be drug testing everyone really soon. They are going to have someone come in and start taking people while they are on the clock getting paid, to get a drug test. I was wondering, is this Legal. I thought the only thing they could do, was give you a paper that says you have to take a drug test within 24 hours. I smoke 8 joints two weeks ago all in one day, so I know I won't pass. I rather get the notice, so that way I can take my special detox drink to flush it out of my system, this is what help me get my second job, but I want to keep both jobs.

Could I say something like, I would like to submit, but I can't pee right now, I just can't.

And I didn't know it until the detective showed up at my house today because the bank filed a police report. What should I do now? I am 6 months pregnant and have a small child, I didn't know they were fake... Someone sent them to me from Craig's List and I have some emails to prove it.

Am I going to have to go to jail? I have no record at all, and this was a huge mistake! Will I be okay if I pay the money back to the bank or is it too late since they called the police?

Please help!!

It is well known that a person born in the United States is an automatic citizen regardless of the mother's citizenship status. The United Kingdom and Australia repealed their U.S. style policy in the 1980s after witnessing abuses similar to those plaguing the U.S. today. Why does the United States continue to allow a practice subject to widespread fraud? The answer lies in how American jurisprudence has interpreted the 14th Amendment to the Constitution. The 14th Amendment was added to the Constitution as part of the post Civil War reforms aimed at addressing injustices to African Americans. It states that "all persons born or naturalized in the United States and subject to the jurisdiction thereof are citizens of the United States.

Teen preg, crime, drug abuse - there is a perception here in the UK of a nation in crisis, a modern Sodom & Gomorrah with a disintegrating sense of shared social values.

And btw, contrary to myth, the UK has a much higher crime rate(inc. violent crime) than the US, as shown by all recent studies

I don't have a problem with this. If you think the retired generals are wrong, you're entitled to that opinion. What I do have a problem with is the double-standard when it comes to criticizing Petraeus.

I'll even grant you that the MoveOn ad may have been in bad taste (though the resolution to condemn it is absurd). But Giuliani is condemning Hillary for saying

"The reports that you provide to us really require the willing suspension of disbelief"

He calls that character assassination. Why is it only okay for conservatives to ignore and criticize members of the military?

The ACLU filed a lawsuit to keep ICE from raiding workplaces to find Illegals.
Which I think would be the best place to look for them.?

If a federal judge goes along, ICE won't be able to look for Illegal Immigrates in the workplace!
Who funds the ACLU?
What are they doing defending the rights of people who are in this country illegally?
I know that they have done some good work in the past, but don't understand them on this issue?
