There is a very vocal body of people who's tactics and arguments are so close to those used by the nazis past and current that it is difficult to suffer them without sinking to their level on un-logic.
As far as questioning military people, anybody with half a brain that has actually studied history knows that it is disastrous not to question them.
Military history is fraught with fools, many more than those with good judgement.
What saddens me on this site is the number of juvenile attempts at misrepresentation by children who think they can fool the other participants into believing that they have a military background when their comments prove that they do not.

I guess it's the whole mentality of the 'You're either with us or against us. They must really be confused as to what conservatives who criticize other conservative opinions are classified as.

Is this the essay your social studies teacher gave you an 'A' on?
Maybe because anything coming out of the pie hole of a liberal in 99.99% of the cases is going to be projected with negativity and sarcasim.
You name anyone one individual on the left of this issue: who has spent their free time at an airport, waiting in the crowd, for the unloading of an international flight of passengers, who have just returned 'Home' in uniform, from serving this country, for your freedom to think stupid thoughts. Perfect straingers.
Who when seeing these brave men and women who left their own families at home, some of whom have never seen their own children; then shout out to them "Welcome home", offer to shake their hand and say, "Thanks for Serving".
Most conservatives who know anything won't critisize any member of the military unless they have shown by word or action tratorist trates such as the 'French looking Kerry'.
The liberal left has never supported the U.S Military or any branch there of. Each time a Dem. gets into office they cut military spending, reduce military forces, and service pay. They, the liberal left; despises everything about our military and their actions and expresions prove it.

the belief that it is unpatriotic to question anything that comes from the Bush admin, is a common view amongst Bush supporters.

Because only conservatives know how to protect and love America best. At least that's what all the conservatives tell me to say. Then they wrap themselves in the flag and take a nap.

Questioning him is one thing. Making up your mind before he even speaks that what he says is going to be false, then basically shooting him because you didn't like his message is another.
You have an EXTREMELY broad definition of propriety!

I agree. If you can't question a General than we are not in a democracy, but there has been a bloodless coup staged.

Because our kind make up the bulk of the military as well as the country...it's our husbands, sons, daughter's and mother's fighting and dying...we just get sick of the insults. Maybe you will feel different when your child is over there fighting for something they believe in and you come on here and here them called terrorists and murderer's...or at the very least called stupid for fighting for what they believe in.
