Here's a helpful guide:
Iran threatens 'America's interests', not America.
Everybody knows what America is. Nobody talks about what 'America's interests' are.
To the average person, it matters what happens in America. Not what happens to 'America's interest'.

i just saw an answer from seebreezecc he stated america has free speach ." you caN critisize the govenment and say your mind with out reprisal.."

do you think this is true.

i bring your attention to Bush's restricted travel orders/list. that restricts both foriegn and US citizens from filght and travel destinations, this if you openly oppose his ideas. there are more than 45,000 and growing names on this list. some of us cant return to America be cause of this list , as we openly speak out against BUSH and the war..

IS THIS FREE SPEACH OR DO I HAVE IT WRONG, WHY IS IT BUSH SAYS, FREE SPEACH IS THE RIGHT OF ALL RIGHT THINKING PEOPLE. WHO AND WHAT ARE RIGHT THINKERS

That we are paying almost 30% of our paycheck to see a really bad puppet show?

In the past our leaders at least tried hard to make their lies more believable, where is all the talent in our government?

May be this is why we need Fred Thompson?

...and that the war is a good thing, and that Bush and Co are in the right and should be supported...
Does it not strike you as suspicious that Bush and Cheney among others are directors of arms and construction companies that directly benefit massively, financially, from the invasion and occupation? Does this fact (which as far as I'm aware no-one disputes) not make you doubt your government's real motives?

It's progressive now. I find that interesting considering every time we try to make progress by building a road or a bridge or to seek energy independence by drilling for oil here or by trying to increase our refining capacity by building a new refinery or by building a damn or a nuclear power plant, there is always opposition from the "progressives" (liberals) on these issues. Why is that? Why don't progressives/liberals want progress?

I just asked this question:
Why do “progressives” have a problem with America trying to ensure Iraq has a moderate secular government?

Most of the answers indicate that you believe we should just hole up and not worry about tyrannical governments. You claim to care about helping others but, apparently only when it benefits your agenda or if it does not allow you to bash conservatives or President Bush.

Shouldn’t we demand that the 6 figure salaries of presidents and congressmen/women be cut and those losing life and limb be paid as well or better?
Soldiers coming back with injuries are often billed thousands in medical bills that aren't covered and end up losing their homes.

Everyone seems so concerned with "cleaning up the mess" in Iraq, why can't the government be made to provide for "cleaning up the messes" that they make of our soldiers and their families?
