Teen preg, crime, drug abuse - there is a perception here in the UK of a nation in crisis, a modern Sodom & Gomorrah with a disintegrating sense of shared social values.

And btw, contrary to myth, the UK has a much higher crime rate(inc. violent crime) than the US, as shown by all recent studies

eg last UN international comparison:

No, this is not where I want our country to head. Not at all. Thank you. You have confirmed everything that I've been saying all along. I've spent many years and Europe myself, and it was more than evident as to what was and is happening over there. I have friends living in the UK right now who are dying to move over here and get away from the madness!

Look at Germany and France, they too are in the same boat. And yet, we have those here in this forum who embrace what you have pointed out is so damned wrong and will eventually create a downfall that is worse than it is right now.

Again, I thank you for having the courage to see right from wrong and bring out the honest to goodness TRUTH!

This isn't just about the US or the Europeans or any other country for that matter. What you are noticing is a prophecy coming true. The Bible mentions that the world will get worse. This is true whether you like it or not. Question is will you do something about that or you stand there like everyone else and just think about it?

You need to read Whootziedude's blog about Dick Lamm's (the former Colorado governor) speech on how to destroy America.

You're right, we are on the road to self destruction. We are following a path that has proven to destroy great countries. Unfortunately, I see that this path began even before my birth and the way to stop it seems a very hard path, if indeed enough people can be brought on board to make the changes we need to re-birth the morals and values that made us a great country.

Vote carefully and thoughtfully. Prayerfully.

Unfortunately, the trend started a while back, read "Sloughing Toward Gomorrah" by Robert H. Bork.
It is sad that doing good, having a moral code and a certain standard of life "gets old". For the many, learning from another's experience means nothing, they have to try it for themselves, only to come to the same conclusion, at some point in the future.

We've seen what's going on in your country and you have our deepest sympathies . Only in recent months and years have I become aware of just how discombobulated the situation really is in your country and other European countries .
We're both still targets , but currently you guys have much more to worry about regarding attacks from within . Honestly though , about half of us(nearly all conservative republican) are trying our best to get our hateful evil countrymen to dismiss their hatred and learn how to act civilized and with respect , but it is a daunting task .
We'll stand together with you , don't you worry about that , and if neither of us can solve this 'peacefully' , then I truly dread the imminent coming day when we both must handle this far more stringently .
These idiots don't understand that they're only pushing for their own demise . And one day ,very soon , we'll put the hammer down !!
Thank you and good luck and good will to you and yours !!

Bravo and well-said!

No, I most certainly do *not* want to continue down that road. I look around my country, and I see exactly what you're talking about - and it worries me. Especially the "disintegrating sense of shared social values" - America is supposed to be a melting pot - not a place to stand on our differences. People have far more in common than not, but that seems to get overlooked by almost everyone.

Thank you for an excellent question.

Liberals do. They love all the control the government has over the lives of its people. They love the high taxes that make it near impossible to be self-sufficient.

I am crazy, but I understand the end game of liberals is.

But, but, but the UK has banned "evil guns". How is violent crime possible?

Thank you for asking, yes the socialists in AMerica are nuts, they believe that socialism works, just that you guys did not have the right leaders. It is always that way with a committed socialist, and perhaps that is what we need to do with them, have them committed.

Hey thanks for the data. It says crime in the UK has gone down considerably.

And I love bible references. OOOO sodom and Gomorrah...spooky. Doesn't that story end with an act of incest to save the Israelites?

Teach teens how to have sex safely, improve education to reduce crime and drug abuse. When things arnt so naughty and taboo teens get less interested.
