"Of course the people don't want war. But after all, it's the leaders of the country who determine the policy, and it's always a simple matter to drag the people along whether it's a democracy, a fascist dictatorship, or a parliament, or a communist dictatorship. Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is tell them they are being attacked, and denounce the pacifists for lack of patriotism, and exposing the country to greater danger."

Yes, it could be said about the vast majority of wars. But that wasn't my question.

And grandpa Shrub taught that theory to Big Shrub and Shrub Jr. He learned it while assisting the Nazi party. Someone like that now would not be allowed in this country. Sadly we have had 1, and now have another President that still think like that. This war on terror is not external in enemy, rather it is internal by design.

This was recorded by God approximately 56 A.D. after the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. "Honor Authority" Romans 12:1-2
"Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God.
Whosoever therefore resists the power, resists the ordinance of God: and they that resist shall receive to themselves damnation."

Subjection to the government is the obligation of all mankind, not just Christians. It is not optional, but an absolute necessity. The HIGHER POWERS are established by God.
See Titus 3:1 and 1 Peter 2:13 and also Acts 5:29

And that is right - God let Hitler come into power, just like God let Nebuchadnezzar destroy Jerusalem. A country or nation that forgets God and defies their leader, they are subject to the judgment of Almighty God.

The Bible clearly tells us that it is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of Almighty God.

Just because something is said by a Nazi, doesn't mean it is wrong or bad. On the same note, I do not necessarily believe that applies here. We are, as a matter of fact, going to be in greater danger if we surrender / retreat from Iraq prematurely.

So your comparing a war against extremists to the holocaust? I think your a few million dead short. Holocaust killed around 20,000,000 Russians 6,000,000 Jews 1,000,000 soldiers and about 70,000 children&gypsies
Pretty different scenarios.
