No. Some of the people who do not support my agenda are ignorant and can be educated, so I cannot call them traitors.
Those I call traitors I do so because they actively give "aid and comfort" to enemies of The United States of America. Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid, Jack Murtha, John Kerry, and Jane Fonda are among those who I view as traitors. All who defend the treason of such people are giving "aid and comfort" to the enemies of The United States of America, and by defending treason they become traitors. When you call yourself a "moderate", you tell me that it is highly likely that you are a liberal in denial, but if I were a liberal I would try to deny it as well, just like Bill Clinton tries to deny his adulterous tendencies...

First enable me congratulate you on your achievements. nicely executed. What made this united states of america super grew to become into each and all the folk(no longer the government) working to make their lives greater ideal. usually the tougher you worked and the greater opportunities you took the greater valuable you have been. And including a majority of those successes at the same time stronger the yank way of existence. Then interior the 60's Lyndon Johnson began his "super Society" software which secure welfare and purely straightforward handouts at taxpayers cost. Bobby Kennedy felt that welfare grew to become right into a grave mistake through fact it would bring about an enduring underclass of human beings. He grew to become into recommendations-blowing. So truly the version in philosophies are straightforward. Conservatives have faith it truly is the wide-unfold public that makes the government super and the liberals think of the government makes the folk super.

No, not a bit. I actually get grief from some of the more rabid conservatives on here because I actually (GASP!) have liberal friends.
But the blame America first crowd? Yeah, I think they're traitorous liberals. Then again, what *is* a traitor anymore? If Hanoi Jane didn't get prosecuted for treason, does any of it still have meaning?

"Liberal" and "traitorous" are mutually exclusive.
To be a true liberal would be for one to take into consideration the concerns of all parties involved, not just those that one may agree with. Liberalism does not lean left or right, but it is about freedom, personal and economic. True conservatism is maintaing the status quo and keeping with traditions. What these self-described "conservatives" are referring to are not liberals but merely leftist fanatics. Even still, they are not "traitorous" but rather extreme in their beliefs, much like the fanatical right.
The truly traitorous are those who betray their government and and give overt support to a nemesis out of sheer malice.

No. I view anyone as treasonous who engages in actions that are treasonous, to wit:
"Treason against the United States, shall consist only in levying war against them, or in adhering to their enemies, giving them aid and comfort. No person shall be convicted of treason unless on the testimony of two witnesses to the same overt act, or on confession in open court."
Experience here in Y!A Politics indicates that there is not very much treasonous behavior. But when you find a participant whose words give aid and comfort to the enemy, it is more likely to be a big-time Lib.

The radical ones sure seem to think that way. You see, they only see the world as black and white (extremes), right or wrong, my way or the highway. They have difficulty understanding grey areas or a miriad of colors that make up the world. A black and white world requires no real thought only reaction much like an animal reacts to basic stimuli. Since they don't see themselves as anything but patriotic, and they no doubt are, they see anyone who doesn't agree with them as somehow unpatriotic. There is no inbetween or other views that are equally valid to them.

I have asked some "bear bait" type questions because I get a kick out of angry posts, but of course I know there is a broad spectrum out there. I think the left is more polarized - that's my opinion.

I am a conservative and personally I believe it is good to have differing views amongst the population. It encourages folks to consider things they may have overlooked or ignored. However, when those views and actions endanger these United States, I take exception.

No I don't think everyone that doesn't agree with my agenda is traitorous. Misguided maybe. I simply don't trust political polls.
I think everyone wants what they think is best for the country, it's just the ideas on how it's done is where we differ. (There are some hate spewers on BOTH SIDES that need not be listened to though)
