It is well known that a person born in the United States is an automatic citizen regardless of the mother's citizenship status. However, the United States is unusual in its offer of citizenship to anyone born on U.S. soil. Only a few European countries still grant automatic citizenship at birth. The United Kingdom and Australia repealed their U.S. style policy in the 1980s after witnessing abuses similar to those plaguing the U.S. today. Why does the United States continue to allow a practice subject to widespread fraud? The answer lies in how American jurisprudence has interpreted the 14th Amendment to the Constitution. The 14th Amendment was added to the Constitution as part of the post Civil War reforms aimed at addressing injustices to African Americans. It states that "all persons born or naturalized in the United States and subject to the jurisdiction thereof are citizens of the United States.

The US should bring our troops home from Iraq, put them on the border and imprison anyone who hires an illegal immigrant. None of that will happen, because the globalist own us. Everything is going according to their plan.

Yes, this is costing a ton of money that we don't have!
To Moody State Champs: If whites are the only people against Illegals, then the blacks and other races should get on the ball.
It's everyone's benefits that are going to be depleted as this continues!
Our government has choose to let the middle class pay for these illegals benefits while the people that employ them get cheap labor!

yes... and i am not a white american (mixed heritage)... I have no problem with any race whatsoever as long as they came here the legal way... and I beleive that since the anchor baby situation is becoming a problem, they need to change that law... at least one parent needs to be in the US legally (citizen, resident, or on a legal, not expired visa at the time of birth)
and to make this matter worse.... not all people get to stay here with their anchor babies.... only certain countries seemed to be allowed to do that successfully... some people get deported and their kids sent back with them.... this should be a rule for all... not a few...

We don't need to repeal it as there never actually was such a law. Instead, we need to have the 14th Amendment to the Constitution correctly interpreted by the Supreme Court.

YES! It is bankrupting the country. Stop illegals from coming and fine and jail the people who hire them. Enforce the laws that already are on the books. These people are just taking advantage of the American taxpayer. We are a generous Nation but this craziness most stop. This is our Country not theirs. Come legally and we open our hearts to you, other wise stay ou!

It also states that it does not apply to foreigners but that part gets ignored. It's all the immigration laws since 1965 that need to go!

YES!!! And for "Moody State Champs", I am Chinese American and I hate the illegals as well. I have no issue with immigration as long as it is done LEGALLY, as long as they speak ENGLISH and as long as they don't come over here and suck the welfare system dry.

Non-white American here...and I hate illegals too. After all, MY people are the ones who are really paying the price for their presence here.
