And do you believe in bigger or smaller government, and why.

Fred Thompson. I do believe overall in smaller government. But as a student of government I do think some levels of government need to be expanded to handle the needs of citizens. Overall it can be smaller.

I believe you have to have the government in on some issues. Education, Human services, Defense, etc.

However, the government should stay out of personel issues, such as marriage, the bedroom, the right to die, things like that.
