What on earth did you do? My cousin did things in the USAF that would have had him locked up for years in the Army, but got out with an honorable discharge not withstanding.

Yes, assuming you can acquire a waiver. To do so you need to talk to the folks at the recruiting office. Be BRUTALLY HONEST about why you have an UOTHC discharge. They can tell you how to acquire the waiver.

It depends on the circumstance. My brother had one from the marines for not passing the pt test. he enlisted in the army with no problem. you should go talk to a your local army recruiter to find out.

what's the RE code? if it is a 4, only the National Guard would entertain a waiver/exception to policy.

If your re-enlistment code on your DD-214 is "RE-4" you cannot join any other branch.

put in for upgrade, wait at least 6 months go to v.a. put in paperwork for reconsideration.
