Very easily, usually by using a fradulent social security number. Plus, illegals also pay property taxes, sales taxes, and product taxes through their purchase of goods and services.

While you are correct that many people working illegally (both illegal aliens and people working under the table), some do. On the federal level, they often use a stolen SSN to get a job. The employer will withhold the correct amount from the paycheck. While it does create other issues, it does illustrate one way federal taxes could get paid. On a state level, income taxes would be the same as federal discussed above. In states like Washington where there is no income tax and there is a sales tax anyone who shops here ends up paying taxes regardless of the source of income.

Don't think I support illegal aliens, I am only answering the question asked.

Because most jobs require you to "prove" you're eligible to work in the US, a lot of undocumented aliens have fake documents (ssn's, etc.). This means that state and federal taxes get deducted from their paychecks, just like everyone else.

As someone else already pointed out, they also pay sales taxes every time they buy something, and if they own property (vehicles, real estate), they pay property taxes on those, too.
