When people find out that I'm against illegal immigration, they love to freak out and say... " why don't you leave, your an immigrant too" lol wtf? is what i say. Since when am I liable for what my ancestors did? Im sure if I was living in my "native land" and illegals were crossing the borders constantly raping my governments social services, I would feel the same way. I just don't understand why people support illegals so much?
It has nothing to do with race, but everything to do with economics.

Carol,
Thats almost sweet, but how can we take care of millions of illegals, when we can't even take care of our own? There is pathetic amounts of poverty in America.

Hobbit,
Is that what you call making a better life, working jobs nobody wants? You would invite illegals over so they can be taken advantage of? Thats horrible! Not only do illegals get used and conned, but they live in constant jeopardy. What about their children? Do you think they have an opportunity for a better life while being illegal? I think you are naive and selfish. Iam all for immigration, but do yourself a favor and do it legal.

people just see it as a race card. If Mexico was full of white people jumping the border, then there would be a problem. its all a bunch of bs to me.
Even Mexico doesn't tolerate illegals.....

1. There will be no special bilingual programs in the schools, no
special ballots for elections, and all government
business will be conducted in our language.

2. Foreigners will NOT have the right to vote, no matter how long
they are here.

3. Foreigners will NEVER be able to hold political office.

4. Foreigners will not be a burden to the taxpayers. No welfare, no
food stamps, no health care, nor any other government assistance
programs.

5. Foreigners can invest in this country, but it must be an amount
equal to 40,000 times the daily minimum wage.

6. If foreigners do come and want to buy land that will be okay, BUT
options will be restricted. You are not allowed to own waterfront
property. That property is reserved for citizens naturally born into
this country.

7. Foreigners may not protest; no demonstrations, no waving a
foreign flag, no political organizing, no "bad-mouthing" our president
or his policies. If you do you will be sent home.

8. If you do come to this country illegally, you will be hunted down
and sent straight to jail.

Like one of the guys said about1.2 million immigrants legally enter the country on visas & permits every year, more than pretty much the rest of the nations in the world combine, well then MOST illegal Immigrants, about 50% according to ICE, overstayed their permits becoming illegal the other half of all ilegal immigrants sneak into our country not just the MEX/USA also CANADA/USA and sea ports, the only way to end this is to REFORM our immigration system. Why some immigrants don't apply for a permit and just sneak in, well thats BECAUSE the process to enter the USA is much to long and expensive & sometimes they don't qualify to enter the USA. Thats why and amnesty is not an answer we need a REFORMATION of our system to take those who can't live in the USA for many reasons out of here, and to let those who overstayed their visas to integrate into our system, so they can all of their taxes not just the ones from GOODS and SERVICES. Take France and Spain for example they ended with their illegal immigrant, problem in just one year, HOW?? They actually sat down and worked toguether to create a new immigration system, no border around their shores was need it to keep the Africans aways just a reform.

you make a very good point! its not our fault for what our ancestors may have done but all we know is we and our families are legal. i can understand your views. im sure you think the same way i do as that the people who are illegal now know full well what they are doing. MAC: go to any welfare office and say that your not a citizen or resident and they will give you a TAX ID # which is the same as a SSN. that is how they also buy houses etc.

I didn't become Anti-illegal immigrant until I had a GF who I wanted to get her over her and I was told that I needed to be earning a MINIMIUM $30,000.00 a year and spend about 10,000.00 to get her over here.

When my part of my family came over they were legal immigrants, the others are native.

Those bleeding heart liberals need to focus on helping those who are LEGAL citizens. I don't care where they came from, they are a cancer on the American Society and like cancer needs to be elimanated. I'm not talking about murder I'm not violent.

If we were able to get rid of Illegal immigrants then we can start dealing with the poor and homeless who deserve the governments more then someone who doesn't deserve the treatment that so many Americans are denied.

Not only economics, but the law, the environment, and quality of life. When I grew up you could leave your doors unlocked and now you can't even go out at night.

I want a better life, too. What country can I invade and demand a job, health care, and education? My salary has been slashed by 2/3 due to outsourcing, green cards, and H1-B's.

They are grasping at straws to legitimize illegal behavior.

If you are against the illegal alien criminals, that have invaded our country, you are not alone. MOST Americans are against illegals. I heard it was close to 80%. (One person today claimed that it was only 60% and 50% didn't want illegals deported - personally I think he's nuts.)

This is our country. We are Americans. The illegals are not "undocumented Americans" as the traitor Harry Reid called them.

I am angry that they are destroying our country and our economy. We can not afford to spend more than $50 BILLION each year on illegals! THAT MONEY SHOULD BE GOING TO AMERICANS!

I agree with you. And when people bring up the ancestor thing it makes me angry. Our ancestors didn't jump the border illegally. It has nothing to do with race with me either. It has to do with them being here illegal and wanted special privileges.

I'm yet to see a solid reason why people stand behind illegal immigrants. I had a conversation with a friend of mine just the other day and he kept using that same lame excuse...

---They want a better life!!!
--------But what about the crime that has been skyrocketing all over America?
----Well that doesn't count.
