I've read this comment over and over on here.Well,it's mine and every other American citizen who posts on here.So where do some of you get off by telling those of us who don't agree with how you think to leave OUR country?Don't we have the same rights as you?I believe in Reform so what that's my right. You believe in laws being enforced that are already on the books so what that's your right. So you want me to leave but you stay?Well, the government agrees with me so I guess in essence I'm not a traitor am I?

I believe it is healthy to have debates and to rally for your views, but the immature and sometimes violent behavior towards different views is what?

Why can the bible stop 2 people from getting married. It has been proven unconstitutional to use religion to deny the right to vote, or allow slavery. Why is it acceptable to use religion to stop 2 men from being married?

From what I remember, Exodus 24:10-16 and 2 Corinthians 6:14 were used as "biblical justification" for banning interreligious marriage in the US for some time.

Should we disallow people of different religion to get married because it is in the bible?

Not to mention wearing clothes made out of more than two types of fabrics, shaving, cutting your hair or keeping it long, or even planting two types of crop on a single plot of land. Honestly, no Christian I have ever seen follows the Bible, why should everyone else have to?

I simply do not understand why the bible can be used to justify marriage... why does 1 religion dictate everyone else's life???

I am not gay. Please do not tell me that homosexuality is an abomination, it's a garbage excuse.

3660 Troops have now given their life's for this country and we have pissed away a 1/2 a trillion dollars in Iraq and our own bridges and roads are not even safe. Is it NOW time to concentrate on our own problems here in America and not worry about the middle east? Don't we have enough problems here to deal with? What is this administration thinking? Is there any logic to this all?

There are a few choices that I can see.
1. Article 1 Section 2 where it says that the President is Commander in Chief. The Democrats in Congress have been trying to take the president's constitutional power away from him in their attempts to dictate troop movements.
2. The First Amendment, Senator Kerry and Durbin have both expressed interest in bringing back the "fairness doctrine" which is a direct violation of freedom of speech on the radio airwaves.
3. The Second Amendment, Democrats are always in favor of unreasonable gun control.
4. The Tenth Amendment, which says, "The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people." In fairness to the Democrats almost everybody in the country hates this amendment. The Department of Education is unconstitutional according to this amendment.
5. The Twelth Amendment, the Electoral College.

Does anyone have any know all about independent contractors? I was working as an independent contractor for two companies (pretty much as an employee). I had told one company that I was working for another and the boss of the company I told called the other company I was working for and informed them of my employment with them. To add fuel to the fire the bosses then went over my schedule for the previous month to see if I double booked them( I did not). Is this legal?? I never signed any waiver that I would not work for any competitors or such but I just dont know if I have any rights against the employer who made those phone calls..

I am 16 years old and my friends and I have just been charged with misdemeanors for shoplifting at a Kohl's store in Minneapolis. I took about $60 worth of clothing and my friend only took about $10 of clothing. I have to go to court, but I don't know what to expect. Neither of us have ever been in trouble for anything. How much would our fines cost? What would they say or do in court? What would they end up giving us? Community service hours? Please help, I'm so nervous!

Democrats, however, hailed the 83-14 Senate vote as proof they are fulfilling their 2006 campaign promise to crack down on lobbying abuses.

There is not 83 demorcrats in senate, and republicans in senate seem to also feel lobbying abuses go both ways.

United States Department of Justice in 1996 uncovered evidence prior to and during the Clinton administration and also involved the fund-raising practices sought to direct contributions from foreign sources to the Democratic National Committee (DNC) before the 1996 presidential campaign.

Intelligence information had shown the PRC Embassy in Washington, D.C. was used for coordinating contributions to the DNC in violation of United States law forbidding non-American citizens or non-permanent residents from giving monetary donations to United States politicians.

If a US firm was to make a deal arming a nation like libya, you can bet the anti american far left libs would be screaming about how evil american greedy corporations are.

Well maybe I am wrong, after all, you far left libs might think that Libya is a better nation then the US. Are you hoping that the french and the libyans will bring down the evil US?

Japan bombed Pearl Harbor for the same reason, Bin Laden pulled of 9/11, a total failure of the USA Government and Air safety. Waht are people thinking, that Japan would have attacked us with elephants over the Bering street?

I mean 'Sir' Elton John thinks we should all get rid of the internet and Sharon Crow thinks we should only use one square of toilet paper and Ted Kennedy thinks everyone with an extra bedroom should rent it out to an illegal.
And Hillary Clinton thinks all of the African Americans who are currently locked up in prison should be released and given executive jobs instead.
The Global Warming Fanatics thinks we should revert back to the stone age in order to save our planet and Condi Lisa Rice thinks Israel would have peace if only they'd hand their land over to their enemy's on a silver plater.
I mean if they were left to their own devices and allowed to shape the world into what they believe to be 'perfect' what do you think it would be like?

here's the story: this man meets this fairly attractive young woman, spends the night with her, she starts following him here and there and generally behaving as though she is now his girlfriend. the two of them are in a pub one day when another bloke starts trying to pick her up. so her supposed boyfriend takes this guy out back and says you'd better think fast before i put a hurting on you coz that's my girl you're messing with, so the guy hands him a wad of cash and says how about you keep this and pretend you don't care what i'm doing. so being rather drunk and out of sorts he keeps the money and acts like he can't see what's happening. well the woman gets wind of what happened later on and she's right pissed off. she says she is going to go to the cops and have this guy prosecuted for trying to turn her out, as if he's a pimp or something. what's the chances she could be successful if she does report this as a crime?

"SEOUL, South Korea - South Korea's frustration over the plight of Christian volunteers seized by the Taliban is starting to focus on the United States, a frequent target of resentment here."

Why are they mad at us? I understand that they may be frustrated that they can't get their hostages home. I understand that our policies and their policies may not always be the same 100% of the time. I get that.

But they are frustrated with us??? How many of their people did we kidnap? Did we somehow help the terrorists find these South Koreans and drive the getaway car?? If you want to be angry and frustrated, please focus that energy on where it belongs: the people who actually kidnapped your countrymen.
