I believe it is healthy to have debates and to rally for your views, but the immature and sometimes violent behavior towards different views is what?

Good point! We are all Americans wanting the best for our country and our people. I think sometimes people get caught up in wanting their opinions, views, ideas and morals to be the "right" ones that we all seem look at each other like the enemy. Republicans against democrats, one religion against the other. It is a shame. After 9/11 people seemed to come together and have a real American bond but that seems to be fading. I guess that is what our "true enemies" want, To see us fighting each other and not them! I believe it is good to have our own opinions and views, That is what makes America great! But we need to also respect others opinions also.

I know I will get a bunch of "thumbs down" but this is how I really feel.

It is called political bigotry. It is the last prejudice to be tolerated in the United States.
