French firm is arming Libya, why dont I hear you libs condemning the french?

If a US firm was to make a deal arming a nation like libya, you can bet the anti american far left libs would be screaming about how evil american greedy corporations are.

Well maybe I am wrong, after all, you far left libs might think that Libya is a better nation then the US. Are you hoping that the french and the libyans will bring down the evil US?

Libs are condemning the sale of arms to middle eastern nations by the US, but they ignore it when the french do it, that is the hyppocrisy. Any nation selling weapons to a less then friendly nation is our concern. Do you not get that what other nations do actually affects us. Making the argument that we do something is irrelevant. That wasnt the question. They condemn us when we do it. Why not condemn the french too?

Because Bush considers Libya an ally now -- or at least neutral -- that's why we've re-established diplomatic relations.

And because Liberals would rather focus on what our own govt is doing, and worry less about the trade deals that other countries are making.....

For example, the fact that Bush is selling weapons to the country that was the homeland of most 9/11 terrorists, and the country that is currently the leading supplier of arms and support for the Insurgents....

It's called prioritizing -- Libya is less of a threat, and we couldn't stop France if we wanted to.

Liberals never complain about the French. The French also sold weapons to Iran, China, Syria, etc..

The French weapons sold to Syria ended up in the hands of terrorists.
