3660 Troops have now given their life's for this country and we have pissed away a 1/2 a trillion dollars in Iraq and our own bridges and roads are not even safe. Is it NOW time to concentrate on our own problems here in America and not worry about the middle east? Don't we have enough problems here to deal with? What is this administration thinking? Is there any logic to this all?

Hey james,
Sorry I didn't no people would be affended with cursing at midnight, I was assuming that kids were in bed and adults could handle it. I don't see the difference in using ********* vs. the real word. If that make you feel better then thats fine, whatever makes you feel good.
As for " I realize that doesnt mean **** to most of you libs but until you volunteer to get off your *** and sacrifice for this country you'd better shut up and dont dare use my 3,660 dead buddies as ammo for your argument. You havent earned the right to even look at them. You might as well piss on their graves."

Do you really think that you can write this and not get people "PEE'd of at you.....Whatever........ Trying not to curse.

As for being a "lib", I do not consider myself a "lib" and you do not know me so have no right to call me any names.

As for the 5%............where did you get that fact. You can stand there and tell me that only 5% of the arm forces democratic.....hard to believe!!

This is a similar argument to:

"Why are you stopping me, officer? Why aren't you out there catching REAL criminals instead of innocent citizens. Oh, those cans are old. Yes, I've had something to drink tonight, but not much...

...and no, I didn't notice the mailbox on my hood, thank you."

We should be doing both, thank you.

I trust the administration with nearly a hundred times the access to accurate up-to-date information than I would a private citizen.

Just a quirk of mine. That and watching politician after politician make promises of that sort, actually get into office, and then not follow through, as if...

...they suddenly discovered that their simplistic ideas of foreign policy were just that.

Simplistic and unrealistic.

Yeah we have a lot of problems. 1. planes running into our buildings killing over 3,000 innocent Americans (that was 9/11 for you and all the other liberals that seem to forget about it). 2. wouldn't have many bridges if the terrorists still had the capabilities to blow them up 3. One bridge out of thousands upon thousands isn't something I would worry too much about. If your still scared though buy a canoe and go across a river that way. 4. 1/2 a trillion dollars huh? did you know our GDP is well over 13.13 trillion dollars per year? I think to keep Americans and the world safer is worth a small percent of that. 5. I think the biggest problem of all though is people like you who think that now that the goings gotten tough in war that we should pull out and give up. WAR IS TOUGH GET USED TO IT! You do a dishonor to those men and women who died for this country thinking that you are the only one in the world who deserves freedom and democracy. The men and women still over there now what they are fighting for. So shut up with all this whining and support them till the fight is through!

This has been covered about 50 times now, it's a state's issue to keep up their roads. Minnesota (a Democratic stronghold I remind you) has been in a budget crisis for years, and has been skimping on upkeep. I will give them this much - notice how they're not crying about it like New Orleans and blaming everyone but themselves? That's called class and dignity people, make a note.

Michael Moore gets a boil on his @ss and you guys want to blame Bush. Hey, I'm no fan of the guy, but I can't see how it's the Federal Government's responsibility to provide oversight to State funded and operated bridges and highways. One has NOTHING to do with the other. Bush isn't anymore responsible for a bridge in Minnesota than I am.
So go ahead and hate the guy, that's your right, just get your facts straight.
BTW - Thanks for your service to this country, James.

Lets get a few things straight. Minnesota bridges are paid for by the STATE.Gasoline tax is paid to build roads and bridges. 98% of state workers are democrat. Would it be fair to say that YOUR liberal workers are the ones to build the bridge in the first place? Your problem, the same for many liberals, is that you blame Bush, for what you yourselves should be taking care of. I find it interesting that Minnesota spent more on illegal immigrants and abortions, than they did their roads and bridges. The problem here at home is people like you......

Oh yeah, I forgot...everything is NOT President Bush's fault. The bridge issue is NOT a federal issue but a state one.

First off, we troops volunteer to do what we do and we believe in it. I realize that doesnt mean **** to most of you libs but until you volunteer to get off your *** and sacrifice for this country you'd better shut up and dont dare use my 3,660 dead buddies as ammo for your argument. You havent earned the right to even look at them. You might as well piss on their graves. There is nothing illogical about killing jihadists who want you and me dead, overseas. Its called picking your battlefield. WW2 had how many casualties? Tell a WW2 vet or a vietnam vet we should pull out after 3,600 casualties, get ready to duck cause they'll be swinging.
Whatever you do, remember these words: VOLUNTEER MILITARY.

ROBIN L, dont you dare tell someone to bring me home when all of us are volunteering to stay. You dont support ****. What do you think a jihadist whos trying to kill me in iraq thinks when he reads your statement? Thanks alot. I hope you feel good about yourself.

ROBIN L, maybe you dont get it. You didnt answer my question. What do you think you're giving a jihadist in Iraq when he reads what you wrote? He wants to kill me and you no matter what (I'm a bit closer to him than you). Your opinion and a pullout from Iraq wont stop him from wanting to kill me and you. What it WILL do is force him to come to the US to do it because there are no more US soldiers to shoot at on in the middle east. I dont want that to happen. So do me a favour and answer the question, what do you think you give him when he reads your statement.
---

Strattz, Dont talk to a REAL soldier about doing time. You know as well as I do that even if you WERE in the military at any point your views represent about 5% of todays military and its the 5% that joined for college and got right out as soon as they could.
Also, strattz, in the mature adult world we cover our swear words with these "***" and we refrain from telling people to shove things up their "***" Just from this behavior I've determined you never did any "time" you never were a soldier because a soldier would not be acting like a child like you are. Nor would he refer to his military service as "doing time" as though he was in prison. So now you're not only a lib, but you tried to impersonate a US Soldier...be gald I dont know where you are.

What is going on in the Middle East directly affects us here in the US. Bush didnt create a dependance on foreign oil, but as president he has to face the realities of it. Bush didnt create the terrrorists trying to kill us, but as president he has to deal with it. If you cant grasp the fact that we live in a global community and that the foreign stage is just as important as our domestic one, then you really really really have to go back to school and take a few more classes in economics, politics and history.

Do you realize that our country would completely shut down without oil? Our bridges and roads would be fixed if our crooked politicians didn't take that appropriated money and divert it to museums, parks, and other projects in their own districts. It isn't the administration on the bridges and roads, it is the Congress.

State issue not a federal issue. Blame Democrats for the mess. Minnesota spent over $175 million on undocumented workers last year. And Pelosi and Democrats scream and shout anytime the U.S. government tries to deport Democrat's future voters [undocumented immigrants].

Spend $50 Billion On Undocumented Workers? Or Spend $50 Billion On Bridges, Levees, Etc?
