What would a Liberals idea of a perfect world be like?

I mean 'Sir' Elton John thinks we should all get rid of the internet and Sharon Crow thinks we should only use one square of toilet paper and Ted Kennedy thinks everyone with an extra bedroom should rent it out to an illegal.
And Hillary Clinton thinks all of the African Americans who are currently locked up in prison should be released and given executive jobs instead.
The Global Warming Fanatics thinks we should revert back to the stone age in order to save our planet and Condi Lisa Rice thinks Israel would have peace if only they'd hand their land over to their enemy's on a silver plater.
I mean if they were left to their own devices and allowed to shape the world into what they believe to be 'perfect' what do you think it would be like?

Actually I think it's disgusting in the first place to make what a celebrity says newsworthy material and much of what the media is reporting on these days is stupid and not worth mentioning.And your right it is all propaganda meant to confuse us and condition us to being used to thinking with only half a brain.
I mean if they can dish out unintelligent crap and we get used to hearing only that then are we ever going to want anything else?

I don't know Sharon Crow, but Sheryl crow threw out the one square idea because of her work with Laurie David... wife of Larry David... former creator and writer of "Seinfeld"... of which one episode was about Elaine needing toilet paper and having to BEG for... ONE square of toilet paper.

Global warming activists do not want, and have never said, to revert to the Stone Age. (Note that "global warming" is small case, and Stone Age is capitalized.) In fact, global warming activists point out - rightly - that when action is taken to address scientific challenges, the resulting technologies become commercialized and have a multiplier effect to GROW and even transform the economy, and rapidly. Reference the Apollo space program.

Ted Kennedy has never suggested renting rooms out to anyone. But if you have the room in that double-wide trailer of yours, you might want to see what the market will bear.

Condoleeza Rice (oh snap! Had to correct your spelling again) has never proposed the peace solution you attribute to her. In fact, her posture has been very much the opposite, as indicated by her ongoing deliberate LACK of action to resolve violent incidents concerning Israel.

Sometimes it seems like you really get it... and other times it seems like you still fall for too much of the propaganda...

All these things you speak of have been in the works for a long time now, under Democrats and mostly Republicans. It's all about the treasonous "globalist" controlled government slowly and steadily looting the USA and taking more control over every single thing, getting the population used to slavery... No one leader has ever taken us so far towards the end of freedom, the middle class, and our very sovereignty as a nation as George Bush. Forget about who's being blamed or paid to spread propaganda... Pay attention to the fact that this stuff is being "advertised", happening and being planned NOW, under THIS administration. Isn't it funny that the press is spreading this supposedly "liberal" garbage, yet the same press is completely disregarding anyone who has REAL problems with this administration and their MANY questionable, illegal, treasonous and unconstitutional acts?

I hope you realize only about half of those people are actually liberal...

But -- under a world purely according to liberal philosophy -- everyone would be free to do whatever they want, and the govt would be limited only to stopping the most violent offenders. This includes no govt regulation of handguns, no govt regulation of business, no govt regulation of media, no govt regulation of personal conduct. No govt charity either.

Under a world according to liberal economics -- every business would be free to do whatever it wants -- subject only to what its consumers demand of it and applicable criminal laws. No trade protections, no minimum wage, no limits on who gets hired -- no govt regulation except where the business is causing direct harm to people or the community.

Liberals oppose socialism,. which is govt regulation of business and govt mandated charity. Liberals also oppose govt restrictions on behavior (which conservatives want).

Anyone would be free to practice any religion they want -- but the govt doesn't pay for anything for anyone. No tax breaks for churches. No special treatment for religions, or any minority groups -- everyone gets treated exactly the same.

That's the liberal philosophy -- which is not what Democrats or socialists in the US are trying to do. So, please stop confusing liberals with either of those other groups.
