You hair grows 1/2 inch a month so if they only test the 1/2 inch off you scalp you will pass.The rest will show what you have taken in your body before a month ago.

OK, Usually they will cut the hair as close to the scalp as possible (sometimes they take follicles). normally, they will test the bottom section (closest to the scalp) 3/4 of an inch which represents approx. the last 90 days... Most testing company's do a "quick test" (inexpensive) and look for positive. If it is questionable (low level) they pass. (It is more expensive to perform the spectrograph intensive test which cuts in to the testing facilities profit margin). If the quick test shows positive, you fail and they hold the balance of the sample in case of an appeal... Don't Do Drugs!

Nope, they cut a small patch of hair right to the scalp. It will show when you did weed. When you smoke weed it shows up in the roots, which then grow out.

Not a chance- it looks back a few years. Also, do yourself a favor, clean yourself up completely and go back to school (trust me- you need to retake some english classes, especially the ones about spelling and grammar). The added benefit- one day when you have kids, you won't be teaching them that it's okay to be stoned and uneducated.
