I don't know much about law, but take for example

1) you were caught with possession of LSD

however, you were a round-the-clock humanitarian, volunteer worker, charity organiser and counsellor. Would the law treat you differently based on being good natured or is this not possible?

Obviously a possession of a drug is different then murder...

When I am asked "Who shaved the family cat and painted her pink with a paint-roller?" I am saying the exact same thing that the Attorney General and the White House staff are telling congress "I do not remeber", yet my mom doesn't believe me.

Isn't the message from Dr King, God's message, for us to love one another and treat each other with respect and diginty?

Shouldn't the leaders of blacks, be taking the high road? forgive the sins of the past and try to heal wounds, instead of inflame them, for personal gain?

I wonder if the liberal media has decided for blacks that Jackson and Sharpton are their leaders and mentors, whether you like it or not?

We saw what happened to Bill Cosby when he criticized the leaders aligned with socialism, they dug up dirt from Cosby's past to hurt him and send a message to any other black leaders, the same will be done to you to, if you try to represent Dr King's message without hate and selfish motivation.

Lets say you live in liberalville and everyone in your neighborhood (congressional district) votes for Hillary in 2008 and she wins in your area (congressional district) by a 70/30 margin....but in your state the vote goes 50.1% for Rudy Guiliani (whoever) and 49.9% for Hillary. So should your electoral vote go to Hillary or Rudy?

I'm not sure if it still is, but at one time, if a group of students wanted to get together for prayer at school, they weren't allowed to. This is a good example of the left forcing their views on others.
We've talked some about christians forcing their views and this was the first example that came to mind the other way.
So my point is why can't we just be happy with the things we have chosen for our lives and leave everyone else alone? What is this thing in human nature to force our beliefs on others by making it a law so others have to follow it whether they want to or not? America is supposed to represent freedom.

We look back at christians of the past with distain, The christians of the roman empire fed others to the lions, (pretty ironic) the crusades, the genocide of the people of the americas and the inquisition to name a few of the things done in the name of Christ in the past. I'm not blaming this on Jesus, and I know it doesn't compare to what most of chrisiantity does today, but what if in 500 years there is no war or killing how do you think those christians will look back on pro-war christians of today? Or the Christians who deny the rights of homosexuals? Or the Christians (a fringe group but still christians) who march at soldiers funerals and say they deserve it? What do you think? I'm interested in the opinions of Christians and none Christians, just please keep the insults to a minimum.

I cannot believe that she could even possibly become President.
I would like to know why everyone thinks she would be a good President. If she couldn't keep "Slick Willy" under control, how can she manage the whole country. National Healthcare is a disaster in the making. She is so far right that she cannot even see the middle. Let me know why I should change my mind.

With 401k and IRA plans, more than 50% of Americans now own stocks directly or through mutual funds. This ownership influences economic and political actions of the companies. Do you think these corporations will become more responsive to us as shareholders than our political bodies are to us as citizens? Is this a better place to find answers to public health and safety, enviromental, and economic issues?

This was more prevalent awhile back , but I just got reminded of it when I was scanning the slide-show pictures of the Brazillian Plane Crash . There was a photo of a woman(assumedly marching in honor of the dead or protesting the situation) who had a red thing on her nose too , and I'm sorry , but I guess I never got the memo .
What's this all about anyway ?

Why does a presidential candidate who sounds like an intelligent thoughful person when it comes to warmaking seen as wimps by americans?

I speak of a person who says he will take action agaisnt aggressors, but just that he or she would make sure that they will ask if a few questions first to determine who the real culprits are before going off half ****** like a loose cannon......why does it get interpreted as wimpish by americans to be reasonable ??

Don't overlook this very bright man. He is an expert at National Security and Foreign Policy. He has been to Iraq many times and understands the responsibility of the Presidency. He has years of experience in Congress and is one of few truly honest Senators. His Irish-Catholic background smacks of moral integrity. He cares about the poor and middle class, which is what most of us are. Try to watch his latest interview on Hard Copy. He deserves a look by undecided voters. He has an aura of "truth" that has been sorely lacking in the current administration. At least, listen to what he says!
