Isn't the message from Dr King, God's message, for us to love one another and treat each other with respect and diginty?

Shouldn't the leaders of blacks, be taking the high road? forgive the sins of the past and try to heal wounds, instead of inflame them, for personal gain?

I wonder if the liberal media has decided for blacks that Jackson and Sharpton are their leaders and mentors, whether you like it or not?

We saw what happened to Bill Cosby when he criticized the leaders aligned with socialism, they dug up dirt from Cosby's past to hurt him and send a message to any other black leaders, the same will be done to you to, if you try to represent Dr King's message without hate and selfish motivation.

The liberal connection- it appears that it is the liberal media who has decided for black people, their preferred black leader; the media acts as if we are all on the same page, when they give these con artists air time and enable the charade. The media always panders to these guys, to give them credibility when they actually have none.

There was a time when civil rights was needed and it was both honorable and genuine but today, its been corrupted and has ulterior motives to benefit the individual. Corruption is not unique to conservatives, it's a problem with all ideologies.

Many black people do realize these clowns do not represent them. At least many that I have talked to know it.

Sharpton and Jackson represetnt themselves. They do not promote black americans or racial relations. They seek to keep the divide . If they didn't then they wouldn't have anything to complain about.

this is unhappy, quite. each and every be conscious that got here from Dr King's mouth grew to become into organic know-how. so a techniques as i comprehend, he constantly took the main recommendations-blowing side. Sharpton and Jackson seek for incidents the place it seems blacks go through, then they take their side. they're racist; I dislike them. i grew to become into worried that their strikes in Jena might shift interest remote from what grew to become into happening, and positioned it on them. i would not have had that undertaking with Dr. King. MLK had different messages too. His message on advertising racial equality is unquestionably common, yet a number of his others concerning to bias and faith are nicely worth their weight in gold too. i do no longer hear any of that from Sharpton and Jackson, this is all racism this or racism that, whilst in lots of cases they're those accountable of racism.

Yes they have. If Dr. King were alive black people would be much better off. I believe the message would focus more on taking advantage of the gains that have been made.

It's up for debate whether Sharpton and Jackson actually use any of Dr. King's teachings. Because of that they are shells of the great men they could have been had they not been such slaves to the limelight.

Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton only care about money. They will use every chance to put their greedy mugs in front of a camera if it means they get something out of it.

Coretta Scott King, was greedy too. MLK is a trademark name and she demanded payment wherever it is used.

Help people, ha! I think not, they help themselves.

I think they pervert the message of Martin Luther King to a point. I have read a lot of King, and I think he would be spending his time today fighting the injustices he would see in all communities regardless of race.
