What I DARE any of these limousine liberals to do is put all their money where their mouths are and help ALL the poor like they want them to be helped instead of trying to take from my kids mouths and future education costs.

I'm sure between all of the liberal politicians, actors and actresses and musicians, they could probably come up with several billion dollars amongst themselves.

But then again, they wouldn't be able to afford their life styles if they did that. They can't let that happen. Then they couldn't afford to preach at us.

The rich can genuinely want to help the poor. I have no doubt RFK did so as a Senator and wanted to do so as President.

John Edwards on the other hand is using this as a political ploy, pure and simple. How do I know? Go look at his record in the Senate. I'm not talking about what he voted yes or no on. My 82 year old grandmother with dementia can vote yes or no. Look at the bills he wrote or sponsored and tried to get passed. There's nothing in there about poverty. Most of them are Commemorative stuff like Honoring Janitors week.

Edwards - Nothing done to help the poor during 6 years in the Senate. That will be the slogan I print up on my bumper sticker if he's the Democrat nominee, along with a web address of his record at www.edwards-fraud.org or something similar.

Sure, class envy is one of the tools that liberals use to emotionally influence the naive. I recall Tom Daschle, in his socialist delusion, proclaimed that giving taxpayers back the money confiscated by governent, would result in these evil people who pay taxes, to buy a new Lexus. Huh?

Hypocrisy is an entitlement for liberals. It's OK for pop-star pedophiles, dizzy media air-heads and professional athletes to be excessively paid, but if a capitalist risked their wealth to earn money, that's a sin (to liberals). Meanwhile families can't afford to go to sporting events but that's OK, because the athlete is a member of the minority de jour.

Answer: It has been said that god loved poor people so much…that he empowered mindless prima-donnas to campaign to be their leaders and insure that the masses remain poor.
Ergo, the Poverty Tours.

While I would cal that hypocrisy, I am sure the liberals would call it "fairness"...... Perhaps he was "redistributing" some of his wealth to that poor barber.....and the 50k was "tolerant" on his part, what with having to sit in a room full of liberals and all......

Hey somebody's gotta lecture the little people on all the things they should be doing, like drying their clothes on clotheslines so Babsy Streisand will have more juice to dry her designer duds in her boutique clothes dryer. Ahem... excuse me... so her servants can dry her designer duds.

Yes.

Otherwise, the issue of poverty could only be addressed by people that cannot afford to speak out.

Obcessed with one lousey hair cut. It looks like Edwards enemies are getting milage off this one. They can't discuss REAL issues so the attack the man personally. But that is how they are very typical of the right. Speaking fees of 50K are the same for those with R after name as for D. Obviously you haven't done your homework just blabber some clap trap.
