So which part of "Christianity" does Bush belong to which allows him to lie, cheat, steal, and commit mass murder and genoicide?

I think absolutely so. Because every president whether Republican or Democrat has participated in religion. Remember how freaked out the country got because JFK was a Catholic? Not that he started making bills or laws to push Catholism on others but just the mere fact he was?

It's not that I hate Bush because he's Christian. Some of my close friends are born again Christian and I love them dearly. What I do not like that Bush does as it comes to his religion is decide to try to pass it in to law in a country that supports many religions and gaurentees everyone the freedom of religion. That's my issue.

Anyone can worship however they choose. My child one day should be allowed to worship however they choose, even if that's different from how I do. But I will fight to the death before I let a society tell my future child what he's allowed to worship and what he's not. If we in this country do not have a place where we can live, worship, love, speak and be free without the persecution and forcing of others to think like they do, then all is lost.

In fact, feel free to completely disagree with me. Makes no difference to me. You're entitled. That's why I like this country.
Bush isn't bad as a human being, but just cause someone's a good human being doesn't make them a great leader, or vice versa. I don't hate Bush, I don't know him personally well enough to hate him or love him. I just don't like the actions he takes as a President and there's a difference.

One more comment, ready: For anyone on here that is saying "yes because everyone hates Christians", boo freakin' hoo. Do you understand how much of this country is Christian? Do you understand the personal racism and remarks made to people who aren't Christian in this country? And you think you're the ones hated?!?! Are you being murdered and marched into camps because of the color of your skin or the fact you believe in Jesus? Are your churches being burned down by extremists in your neighborhood? (like Mosques and Temples are in this country even today?) Do you see other religions getting off of work and school for every holiday they have, while you have to take sick time just to spend time with your family on a holiday? So don't you even dare talk to me about how everyone hates Christians. You really just don't understand how good you have it.

Hypothetically ,are you an idiot.

87 % of americans claim to be CHRISTIANS .That means most liberals are Christians.

You following all this so far grasshopper???

Ergo why would liberals hate a CHRISTIAN PRESIDENT ?????

Most Iiberals hate/detest Bush for many reasons none of which is because he is a Christian BUT the fact that Bush is not a Christian but rather a Christian fundamentalists which 96 % of Christians world wide do not consider as being Christians .

This is a little harder to follow eh grasshopper.

You see grasshopper ALL mainstream Christian Churches EXCEPT the FUNDIES have condemned Bush's atrocity in Iraq as an anti-Christian OBSCENITY .

So who is right grasshopper and who is really a Christian and who isn't??

If Bush is a Christian and because Bush loves to wear Christ on his sleeve and brags about his close relationship with GOD and Christ (well really one in the same Triolgy with the Holy Ghost) , we liberals especially we Christian liberals are astounded that CHRIST in the form of Bush (remember Bush right at the beginning told us that he had talked to God and God blessed his atrocity in Iraq) would WAGE AN ILLEGAL WAR OF CHOICE ALL BASED UPON A PACK OF FILTHY ANTI-CHRISTIAN LIES THAT HAS RESULTED IN THE SLAUGHTER OF OVER 400,000 INNOCENT IRAQI CIVILIANS.

No grasshopper,we hate Bush simply because he is a filthy liar that has caused the NEEDLESS SLAUGHTER of hundreds of thousands and in the process turned a terrorist free zone into a terrorist haven and made all of us much less safe from terrorist attacks because Bush's Iraqi atrocity has multiplied al qaida's membership ten fold.

Now off you go grasshopper to see your mental health worker.

I don't think liberals hate him. They point out his constant foul ups and ever present lying, corruption, incompetence, arrogance and greed but they don't hate him. His being a Christian has nothing to do with it other than it makes him a hypocrite in some of what he does and says but if that were the only thing I doubt there would be much said.

I’m a liberal and a Christian. I don’t hate anyone but Bush is a total disaster as a president.

Hypothetically answering, if Bush were a Christian, your question wouldn't need to be asked.

Hmmm... let's see... all of the Democratic candidates are Christian, we don't hate them... I guess there's your answer.

Besides, Bush isn't a Christian. He's a "Christian". Meaning he invokes the name of the Christ to justify actions that would make Jesus vomit.

Of course they would. Now if he changed party affliation to the Democratic party... that would be different.

Same could be said of Bill Clinton when he was in the White House. (Switching parties, and reversing liberals to conservatives that is. Obviously he was a liberal Democrat. LOL)

Most politicians belong to some Christian religion, regardless of party.

He isnt. Bush believes Cheney is God.

God told Bush to invade Iraq.

Their policies for a secret gov't make it clear they believe that the gov't is above the understanding of mere mortals.
