I am only asking. I realize you can only serve 2 terms as president but is there anything in the Constitution that says a former president can or can not be chosen as vice president.

Here's why I'm asking the question. I have seen people who claim that only American citizens are deserving of the rights that we have. But weren't the founding fathers creating a society that represented what they believed ALL people deserve, regardless of national affiliation? Hint: There was no such thing as the United States of America or the Constitution when they penned the Declaration of Independence. So there were no Americans.

The other tenant could not find a parking space so she decided to tow my vehicle which was parked on my assigned parking space. She did not call or knock on the door to confirm if that vehicle was mine. The manager hapends to be the lady's mom. I've told the manager they are responsible for paying the tow bill. They are refusing to pay the entire bill. They want to split it half. However it was not my fault and how can she ask me to pay for something that was completely not my fault. What are my options.

The Oil Express report says the wording of the decal will be:

"This device dispenses motor fuel by volume measured in gallons. It
does not adjust the volume for variations in the temperature of the fuel.
The temperature of motor fuel affects the energy content of each gallon
dispensed."

"The loss is perhaps 50 cents per hot tankful for individual motorists,
and the collective loss to motorists in California alone is estimated at
about $450 million a year in California," said Dugan. "Exxon can't evade
its responsibility to sell gasoline fairly and honesty with a decal
essentially saying 'Yeah, we rip you off and what are you going to do about
it.'"

My favorite is when he said something to this effect:

"Our enemies are innovative and resourceful, and so are we. They never stop to think of ways to harm our people and our country, and neither do we."

Had a little freudian slip there. And as usual, he had that retarded smile on his face when he said it. He didn't even realize the magnitude of the mistake.

Man, I'm not a big fan of Rudy Guiliani (he's pro-choice, for one), but I'm changing more and more. For one, I just read his book on how he reduced crime in NYC, and I truly believe that it would work nationwide as well. (His idea is to make people personally responsible for crime rates, and it worked!)

However, his health care plan is what is reeling me in. I've been saying this for MONTHS!!!
http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20070731/ap_on_el_pr/giuliani_health_care

His idea is for the government to give tax credits to every family so that they can buy their own health insurance. In other words:

1. Every person in America has health care
2. We don't have to sacrifice the high quality we are used to And we DO have the best in the world. As an example, Canada has a 17.7 week wait time for procedures
http://www.independent.org/newsroom/article.asp?id=1292
3. It will cost the same as Obama's plan, except we getter better quality care!

What do you guys think?

The reason I ask is .... Today my wife and I tried to find a pediatrician for our newborn. We called every doctor in town, and NONE of them are accepting new patients. We finally found someone after about 100 phone calls....but my newborn won't get to see a doctor for another two months ! She's already 2 months old.

I just don't see how the healthcare system could get any worse than it already is...no matter what system we go to anything has to be better than what we have currently.

Think about it, they don't like evolution so they claim that it didn't happen. They don't like global warming so they claim that it doesn't exist. Our mission in Iraq is basically impossible to carry out, they claim that we are doing great!

I've met some intelligent conservatives but for the most part they just seem to be really irresponsible and immature, if you point this out they usually respond by calling a liberal communist. McArthyism is dead, let it remain dead.

They also support Faith Based Initiatives which is a large slap in the face of the constitution (it promotes the establishment of religion by providing government funding, this violates the whole not creating laws about the establishment of religion.)

I'm not trying to party bash, I'm just wondering if anyone else feels this way.
