only if you dont have a family and willing to stay up late nights. i took a few classes but had to drop some, and by the way, those you drop you have to pay for which is $250.00/course.

the only way you dont have to pay for it if you drop it is if you get a memo from your commander saying it was military related or you drop the course before a certain dead line.

i gave up on classes for now, and waiting to get out of the army and join the national guard where they will still pay 100% for college and i'll have the time to study since i'll only have to work one job. either way you take it, good luck to you.

As some of the other spouses have said, it is very possible. Hubby holds himself up as an example to his younger troops who say they don't have time. Hubby works an avg. of 12 hours a day, we have 2 daughters active in school, scouts, and church, and we live in the UK and do lots of traveling. Yet he manages 1 class a term! His goal is to have his bachelors by the time we leave in 2 years! And believe it or not, he actually takes more classes when he is deployed... he doesn't have family life in the way!

My husband is full time Military and goes to school as well. He just earned a Bachelor's degree, and now he's going after his law degree. Yes, there are many, many people who go to school and are in the Military.
We also have four children and he's very active in their lives, and we have a wonderful marriage. He stays busy, but it's worth it! Thanks to the Military, very little has come out of our pocket for school.
