How come I “pick on Bush”, yet never any of the folks running for office in ’08 belonging to either “major political party”?

because the entire field of presidential candidates suck.
not one of them will serve the people and not one of them will tell you the truth
by bashing bush you get some pleasure.......one of those dopes will get elected in 08, so a handful of them will enjoy the ride.
