ACLU Maybe we should sue them and make them change their name. They have NO right to call themselves, American Civil Liberties Union. I don't believe they work for most of us. Why do we accommode anyone in our country? If I go to a Muslim country, I have to cover my hair and obey their rules. $450,000 is a very large accommodation.

Christians can pray all they wish in public schools. The law only states that the schools can not organize, endorse, or coordinate such prayers. The law does not state that you can not pray silently or in private at school.

Exactly. Had this story been about a school that started an all Kosher lunch program or banned meats from the cafeteria on Fridays, this would have been national, front page news.

You know the ACLU is not a government institution. You can start your Christian American Civil Liberties Union and stop/start complaining.

There should be NO religion in public schools. Period. Not Christian, not Hindu, not Buddhist, not Muslim, not anything. Do your praying at home or in church or walking down the street. If you want to pray in school, go to a private religious school and pray all you want. Leave the rest of us out of your religious beliefs.
