I consider myself to be patriotic and love the USA but I cannot stand the outright nationalism of some people like Sean Hannity, Mark Levin, Michael Savage, and all the other right wing talk show hosts. They just go overboard with their speeches. How they will not apologize for the US's misdeeds and admit that sometimes we were wrong. Its not even patriotism anymore, its outright nationalism. Anyone else agree?

why is everything so vague? should we really be able to say ANYTHING? and if not, then is it really free? that goes for the other personal freedoms too. has everything we hold dear really been an illusion all along? something for the citizen to ponder while the leadership is having their way with the economy and the country at large?

The child is 7 and has been living with my and my Fiancee for a year. In order to get our marriage license we have to travel to the state we are getting married in. My Fiancee has to work and will be flying in separately. Will I have any problems flying with his child within the U.S? What do I need in order to do this? Thanks!

If it is dismissed after completing a continuance without finding. Will it remain in the record? If a job makes a record check up will it show up? Will a person have to mark yes if applying for a job? Will it be an obstacle to get to college or receive financial help? What are some of the pros and cons of it? Is there such a thing as appealing for a clean up later on and could this be taken off the record?

Hello I immigrated to the US when I was 10. I recently graduated highschool and planning to go enlist in the navy, however I wasn't aware of the job requirements. I want to become a MA but it is required for me to be a US Citizen (i'm a legal US resident).

My mom and sister became US Citizens a couple months ago, but since I already turned 18, she couldnt carry me along with her. Another problem is that I want to join, go to bootcamp, in late August/September and I think the process of becoming a US Citizen will take months and months to be over with.


I need suggestions, advices, etc. I want to become an MA since I plan on becoming a police officer after being in the military.

I was fired. I wasn't receiving benefits at first. But about a month ago I started receiving unemployment benefits. All because I answered an honest question on the survey asking if I was in school. If I had known that my honest answer would result in no benefits at all then I would have answered no to the telephone survery's that you call in each week. I have a family, of three four including myself. The government does not care if my family and I survive. I enrolled in an CDL training course at the City Colleges in CHicago. It is a 6-10 course, and I will come out with my CDL license plus the actual CDL certificate. A job paying $10 per hour or less would not be beneficial to my family, we won't survive, so I am trying to better myself by enrolling in the training program. IDES is saying that I can't actively look for a job, because my schooling is from 9am- 3pm. Which is untrue, I have gotten interviews for jobs that I have went to. Can they take my unemployment away?

My husband left 2 weeks ago & is in training for Iraq. Well, he just called me today and asked me if id fly and see him for a few hours becuase he has some time off. But the problem is, is that im trying to adapt to him gone & if i go to see him over there, im gonna go back to square one and get serverly sad & depressed again. It took me since he left to get where I am with this. I cant see him over there. (hes not in Iraq yet). I know he needs me (i guess. Hes been acting strange since hes been there) but at the same time, im tryng to deal with this in MY own way. Also, hes coming home in 1 & 1/2 weeks for a few days. But he coming home will be okay cause he'll be HOME again & i wont have to see him live like he does. Also, i have a bad fear of flying. What should i do? These answers will have a big impact on what ill do.

i was looking at a acrticle that stated that bush called the hijacking of the two air planes and perpousely crashed them just to creat problems and so he would try to resolve them and make the country see that he was good at resolveing problems. he called the attack on the counrty just to make trouble and so he can resolve the trouble and feel like a big shot........
