If George W. Bush decides to pardon Scooter Libby, he should go all the way and pardon all of the idiots who voted for him as well!

He should issue a "scorched earth" pardon or issue no pardon at all!

Shouldn't our AWOL-IN-CHIEF or PROTECTOR-IN-CHIEF or DECIDER-IN-CHIEF or BLUNDERER-IN-CHIEF be an equal opportunity PARDONER-IN-CHIEF ?

After all, it is continuing to be more obvious with each passing day that people couldn't have had any idea the blunder they were making when they voted for George W. Bush and ended up with Dick Cheney as president instead!

Not only does Chia-Duran want full Amnesty from President Bush's Leave No Illegal Alien Behind Act, but he also wants full immunity of his crimes due to foreign treaties - treaties supported by the Bush Administration.

Chia-Duran. Chia-Duran, a native of Mexico, is accused of molesting an 8-month-old girl. When the girl was brought to Southern Regional Medical Center, on Dec. 25, she had 30 bruises on her body, her ribs, vertebrae and skull were fractured, leaving her paralyzed. The soon to be enforced ban on smoking in the workplace is concerning to myself and my colleagues at my place of work.

The company I work for operates a Day Shift and a Night Shift. The Day Shift have been given an area outside the building in which they may partake in the self administration of the addictive substances contained within cigarettes, that, incidently, are legally sold by the same company, on paid and on unpaid breaks.

The Night Shift are being told that no such provisions will be made as allowing staff to leave the premises presents itself a potential security threat, and thusforth they are expected to work a 10 hour shift without being able to feed their addiction like their Day Shift colleagues.

I personally believe that this is discriminating against the nightshift, and is a human rights violation as it shows no respect for private life.

Does anyone else have similar views,The Hardcore Anti-Smoking Lobby need not respond, other non smokers welcome though.

Hamas now own the gaza strip having drove the neighbouring force Fatha out.
I have kinda supported Hamas because of there first uprising when Isreal was taking there land, but i dunno Palestien needs a democracy and not the one they have now, i think gang violence is the last thing they should be doing right now they should be working together to help make there country stronger and make them a country not be fooled around with as they have in the past.

I am American and I want to immigrate to Australia. I will turn 20 next month and I have no education passed high school. My girlfriend lives in Australia, she is Australian (that’s the reason for me wanting to immigrate). What type of visa should I get? I know there are different types… Would a Partner Visa be suitable for me? And could I legally have a job if I got that type of visa? Or do I need a Work Visa for that? I have to be able to have a job, obviously...

Also, considering my age and educational background, would getting a visa be difficult for me? I know this is a difficult process and I’d really appreciate any advice that anyone may have for me…
Thanking everyone in advance,
Thomas

In a speech a few days ago President Bush referred to the U.S. government as "my government". Gee, I always thought it was the government of the people, not the President. Does this demonstrate his contempt and disregard for the American people?

The Government is refusing treatment for wet age-related macular degeneration to patients in England and Wales. This is that same corrupt, degenerate incompetant Government that can send troops to Iraq in an illegal war without proper equipment. A government that can pour largesse to corrupt third world countries, yet ignore the needs of it's own citizens. A Goverment which has many of it's bungling ministers lining up at the trough of the E.U. commission hoping to obtain a sinecure at this other corrupt, incompetant organisation.

I hired this item this morning and filled out my details online. There was a postage charge of £4.95 and this wasn't applied at any time to my order.

I then received an email from the company saying that postage hadn't been added and that I had used a product code for existing customers, which I am not. I entered the URL directly and didn't use any code, so I am guessing this is an internal error their end. She has asked me to complete the order again, following a link which I am guessing will add the postage.

Is there any UK law that says they have to charge the advertised price, applicable to internet hire charges? I think they should honour the free postage as it wasn't me who entered anything incorrectly.
