I have not seen Micheal Moores new film but hope to soon. Moore has opened the eyes of millions to the corruptness of our government. If you love him or hate him you can not deny that he makes you think about issues. I think Micheal Moore is a great American who wishes to free the government from the corporate grip and return it to the American people. Yes Micheal has made a lot of money from his work but do you think politicians just donate their time to lobbyists.

Oh yeah, both seasons of the awful truth are now available on DVD.

No, he's anything but a traitor. He's trying to make America a better place for Americans by shining a light in the shadows, and that can only be good. We're talking about the American system of 'health care' right now because of Michael Moore. That's good.

And the American system of health care is, itself, on life-support. It is, as Moore describes it... sick. And it's sick because big business has been allowed to make profits the priority over lives. And millions of Americans have bought into the lie that good health and medical care is a privilege of the well-off, rather than a basic human right.

The U.S. will develop a universal health care system, but it's terribly sad that so many millions of people have had to suffer and die because of corporate greed.

Since the movie is not released yet, I doubt anyone can say for certain, but judging by his previous true-life, non-partisan documentaries, I would say that Michael Moore is a patriot and an American Hero.

Michael Moore is a conservative gun nut also, and I may not agree with that but I will fight for his rights to have guns.

As a gun owner and hunter, I do disagree with a good deal of his methods. He is not a documentary maker. His movies have clear opinions, and as such, they are op-ed pieces.

In the case of his views on the medical and insurance industries, he's welcome to push every button he can against the corporate perversions they have both become. And if Bush and his supporters wind up with black eyes in the process, too bad. They deserve far worse.

People die because of their greed. Moore has done the country a solid service by making this new movie. He's been all over insurance companies dating back to his NBC show TV Nation.

No he his not a traitor, he tells the truth about the Bush family their in bed with Arabs and the Arabs financed George Bush Oil Company that went broke , everything the Bush family touches the Arabs have a financial interest in , they are all together in all their money investments. I understand Bush is a distance relative of Ben Laden , it never amazes me what all that Bush Family gets all their money financed through Saudi Arabia. They are all a bunch of a** kissers to Saudi.

His previous films have been partisan, He showed the truth but there were folk who were honorably on both sides of the issue. This film is beyond partisan, Rich folk, poor folk any folk who actually have insurance (well that leaves out actual poor folk who are much worse off than the lucky few who actually have some insurance of any sort. But even they stand to benefit from an honest sane system).

The only "partisans" who stand on the other side are the tiny numbers who pocket the thirty cents out of every dollar spent on health care that in spent entirely in the denial of care.

The Health care system is the greatest screaming counter argument to Libertarian fantasies that there is, and perhaps that is why Michael Moore chose it, but the fact that it is him telling the facts does not change the facts.

in this country you are allowed to speak your opinion and a journalist ....(except for Michael Moore, because the State Department would find a way to prevent him unfairly, like Cuba...i'm sure Fox News would be allowed to do a piece filmed in Cuba).... is allowed to search for the truth...I'm not saying that Michael Moore always speaks the truth or is unbiased...it's just that he's probably no more wrong than anyone else

He's not a traitor, just a fat full of bs windbag. Did he show the thousands of Europeans and such that come to the US for healthcare if they can afford it,I'm betting No! The US health care system is a disaster,no doubt here, decent healthcare is simply not affordable for many millions and those who do the least to improve healthcare in America make the biggest profits. But I also know from seeing what Michael Moore has done in the past that he went out of his way to show the worst case scenario, and to promote an agenda so why bother with him.Which of course is that socialized medicine is good, and we don't understand that because we're a bunch of evil capitalists. I get it,so I don't really need to spend two hours listening to his BS.

I will say this to all those who think socialized medicine stifles innovation,Radial Keratotomy which was the pre-cursor to much of the vision correcting surgery of today was developed by the soviets. And that is but one example, most who supposedly create all these grand medical advances are really only the people getting rich on what others created years before them.Or building upon the innovations of others.

No, he is in no way a traitor, but, his last 3 or 4 films out of touch with reality in parts. He has stated Sicko is toned down, and, maybe better for it.

He's no traitor, but the truth is never as cut and dried as he would have you believe in his films.
