Clinton balanced the budget, stopped the fighting in Bosnia (and got us out), and had the US respected around the world. Bush has smashed the budget, has no respect for Congress, and involved us in an endless, unnecessary war with no progress. He also did away with habeas corpus, the most basic legal protection.

Clinton, as he helped to resolve the Northern Ireland conflict and made serious efforts in the Middle East. He could also deliver a speech without notes, while Bush frequently stumbles even with Dick and Nora notes!

I respect Clinton as My President. Because he isn't like our Bush!!!

Bush uses other nations and countries as a decoy to get money, oil and what ever he wants. It is a shame that suddam had to die for the cause of bush's mess now I could understand if he had got the life sentence for the things he did do. But it wasn't the reason he had to die. He had to die because bush had to keep his promise to binladden yeah I would say so. That's why he switched the finding of Bin to Saddam isn't that funny. U.S had on shirts that had Bin on the front was printed" Wanted dead or Alive " now you tell me when did the hunt become on th look for saddam. Now he will have every country fight against one another because of his greediness. His motive is not for the U.S. people or the soliders. it all about what he can get with the power we all give him we voted for him. regardless if some didn't, the votes went to him anyways. have you all ever notice that he's quick to call someone a coward and he can't even look into the camera and talk to america upright. nah He can't because he has his own agenda. and U.S is nothing but a hand bag to hold the pain, suffuring and deaths, that is cause by him so We as U.S have to suffer for the damages that he is making for us.
Please watch what I say. before long he will have all of us against each other. he is making promises that he know he can not keep. how can he make peace in a foreign land and there's no peace here in the U.S. we the good people in the U.S has nothing against the people from the foreign lands they haven't done anything to us so why should we back BUSH up with his scams and B/S and hurt the foreign people. No. I am not going to follow his judgments if he wants someone to fight the battle of his own storm he needs to send his nephews, daughters, or brothers. NOT OUR PEOPLE. WE HAVEN'T DONE ANYTHING WRONG TO ANYONE AND DO NOT NEED HIM TO LEAD US. Have you ever thought about those other nations? They are together as one regardless of how they live their lives. Some nations live the way that it has been for thousand of years so why stop it now? If they are accustom of living they way they like so why should anyone intrude? If they need help I am sure they willl ask for it. But they do not need any strangers coming into their lands messing things up. If Bush knew the back road to the nearest place to eat in a foreign country with out someone else taking the chance on going to find it first then to tell him I will close my mouth but in reality Bush is from the U.S.A bor and raised and we nor him have no business over there unless we are invited nicely.

Let me stop talking. all the things a may want to say may not fit in here. Sorry.

Clinton, purely because he has personality and has that president look to him. Bush always seems to be lost trying to maybe remember something that he was told say or remember what points he's supposed to address- you get the idea. I can't say whos a better president cause I don't live in the US and don't take much interest in US politics but again it seems Cliton has done more right by the Americans than Bush is doing, but this could be biase based on the negativity of the war against terror etc and also with the way he is (like Clinton looks dominant and like a good leader yet Bush seems lost and lacks the personality).

I honestly cannot remember ppl critisising Clinton as much as Bush is appart from the Lewinski issue. Possibly as I was quite young then and never really addressed local n national news in those times nevermind world news.

But I'll leave to the Americans and those who have special interest in American politics to give the proper justification as to who is more respectable.

Clinton, hands down. I don't care who he "did" while he was in office.... he was a good and caring president. What hypocrites we as a nation have become - we practically worship Kennedy and he was one of the biggest womanizers ....and yet still a good president. The worst thing Clinton did as far as that goes is lie about it at first - but then would you want to admit to an affair to the world? I doubt it.

Bush has failed us in so many ways. I'm sure he thinks he is doing the right thing but, he should listen to what the people want a bit more. And, is it just me or does he seem incredibly uneducated????

Am I missing something here? All these questions are about the US and its presidents. I know that you can answer all English questions but I have set mine to Yahoo UK and Ireland and I normally don't expect to see this many US Qs on it.

But to answer your question anyway, a decent intelligent guy like Castro would be better for the US presidency. He will bring in free health care for the poor and such stuff.

that is a mixed question deserving a mixed answer..

I have less respect for Clinton the person..
he did damage to the integrity of this Country
....and the job of the President

but I have less respect for the job..

GWB has done and must criticize his bunker-mentality and caving to the spenders in Congress..in doing a tough job in tougher times.

Bush because even though his poll numbers are down he is leading with conviction in a war I think is necessary and not running every thing by polling numbers the way Clinton did.

Clinton, even though he did some questionable things. I still think he lead our country on a more positive path. I don't think bush is the worst president ever. But I don't exactly understand why we went to Iraq instead of other places that we actually knew Nucleur weapons were there. Yeah.
