If it is dismissed after completing a continuance without finding. Will it remain in the record? If a job makes a record check up will it show up? Will a person have to mark yes if applying for a job? Will it be an obstacle to get to college or receive financial help? What are some of the pros and cons of it? Is there such a thing as appealing for a clean up later on and could this be taken off the record?

not really much downside to a continuance without a finding - which means that the charges have been dismissed.

it means that you do not have a criminal record and therefore if asked if you have ever been convicted of anything the honest answer is 'no.'

it will show on a record that you were charged with something and that the case was dismissed.

but almost no one will care about anything if you didn't get convicted.

the one thing it will mean though, is that you now have a history - this will matter greatly if you ever get into trouble with the law ever again.

definite, a private employer can ban you each and every time they choose as long because it is not as a results of fact of your inclusion in a secure type (like being black, or gay, or female, etc). in case you have been banned from the keep, it is not suitable in the journey that your criminal case develop into brushed off as a results of fact they might ban you for doing criminal issues. as an occasion, this is not any longer unlawful to shout out for the period of a theater overall performance, yet whilst a theater needs to prohibit you for doing so constantly, they're in a position to realize this. So definite, in case you bypass lower back there at the same time as the ban is in result, they might call the law enforcement officers on you for trespassing.

If it goes off your record then a job won't find it unless you tell them.
