Does anyone know what church this presidential candidate attends? I've heard he is "protestant" but that could mean 1000 different things.

Congressman Ron Paul is Southern Baptist, I believe. His hometown church is First Baptist Church of Lake Jackson, Texas.

All these people (besides not answering your question) seem to think caring about religion is a problem. I'd say just the opposite is true! Americans who don't care about God or objective truth are the real problem and the reason America is destined to self-destruct real soon unless somebody turns the ship around.

I'm going for Ron Paul. Hope the GOP has sense to back him.

This is not a big concern to me. He seems religious, but also able to respect the separation of church and state more than any other candidate.

That a poster named 'Veritas' is concerned about a candidate's religious afilliation illsustrates perfectly why the US is doomed.

He is Protestant but it doesn't say specifically what kind of Protestant he is. But does it matter?
