Dear Soldier,

This morning I held my child, close to me, I felt his blonde hair softly nuzzle in the nap of my neck. I smiled as he laughed at Sponge Bob Squarpants oh not the Mermaid Man Episode again? I kissed my husband goodbye as I rushed in the door from work and he rushed out again. Thankfull for a brief moment. I made breakfast which consisted of coffee and toast. I prayed for you and your families, I prayed for all of the little things that I take for granted. A smile, a whisper a tear in my young son's eye as he fights his afternoon nap. I think of all the sacrafices you are making to make this world safer, to keep my children safe and for this I say THANK YOU!!!! May God continue to bless the Soldiers that fight for our freedoms,a and may God Continue to bless you and your family. Thank you for all your Sacrafices!!!!

Does US NAVY personnel with dental jobs go to war like Iraq? It seems like the dental corp is together with the medical corps in the Navy and I know for a fact that the medical corps go to war with the marines. Will they send dental people to the front lines? It seems silly but some tell me it's true.

Why is it that when a 14 year old has sex with an adult, they prosecute the adult and more than likely send him/her to prison because the teen didn't know what he/she was doing. Now when a 14 year old commits a crime, (armed robbery, murder, etc., the try him as an adult because he DOES KNOW EXATLY what he/she is doing. I don't condone sex with teens but something seems wrong with this picture!!!

Conservative bloggers in full revolt over immigration
http://www.cnn.com/2007/POLITICS/06/15/bloggers.bush/

WASHINGTON (CNN) -- Different conservative blogs have different pet issues -- government transparency, federal judges, Fred Thompson, to name a few.

But no issue in recent memory has united conservative bloggers like the debate over immigration. Their frustration has culminated in a full-scale revolt against the Bush administration and a Senate bill that activists say does little to solve the country's border security problems.

This illegal immigration mess needs to end.
Wrong is wrong.

The public did not have the information they needed years ago to keep up with the sneaky things our government tries to get away with. All that's changed now.

Thank God for the Internet.

America was made great through a dedication to the rights of the citizen. We elect officials into office to represent us and to ensure our way of life, rights and national security are protected. We expect those we send to office to do the things they have committed to in their campaigning. However, few elected officials ever complete what they say they will; few represent the voters as expected. Unfortunately most people do not follow closely what the politicians are really doing; only what they are saying! Your opportunity to see how your elected official represented you is available on the internet; I like www.vote-smart.org where you can compare what your representative said during the campaign with how they actually voted on the record. Don’t you think it is time we started watching how elected officials perform and ensure they are representing us with their vote and not scamming us with political theatrics? For starters - how is your representative supporting your interests in the illegal alien amnesty situation?

How can anyone speak against the war in Iraq , when aborting your own child, isn't this hypocrisy? What gives a woman the right to kill her own child? And don't say it's her body she can abort her child if she wants too, still don't talk against the war in Iraq. When a woman can kill her own child by abortion, how can she speak against anything else?and don't use the rape, incest, these children are aborted because it's an inconvenience for the woman. I have done alot of research and these babies have been aborted for selfish reasons. And don't tell me it's not a child, I know better. the baby becomes a baby after the male sperm enters the woman. Its human sperm which makes the baby human. I know this would be hard for the ignorant to understand, wouldn't you agree that many women can be ignorant to the truth? Or is it they don't want to know the truth, they just hide their ignorance, and say it's okay?

What do you see as the pros and cons in mixing religion with politics?
Moral behavior is a necessity for a successful culture. For many cultures, religion provides that moral base.
There is a distinct difference, however, between a sin against God and a sin against man.
How exactly should religion factor into politics, if at all?
