Oil in Iraq is a trigger not a point of attack. It's because of past administrations American companies were banned from investing in the area Due to Clinton Executive orders.
Now you have Russia and China, Japan was and has pulled somewhat out... ALL involved. The United States can not take over Iraq land or even close get to her oil without a world war. Surely you do not believe this is the focus of Cheney Bush?
I am open to constructive info, no bashing please. Just good exchange of ideas here. Maybe we all learn something. Thank you very much.

*Note: Our Democratic Congress seems more interested in a witch hunt against AG Gonzales & Bush than this war. To me that means they expect a future in the Clinton Presidential Cabinet and nothing about what is on the minds of voters now, today. Weigh in

Just a question I thought of, My bro-in law asked me if I wanted to go to a shooting range with him, so I wondered if anyone actually had a chance to use a gun if their not a cop or a gang banger.

Me- once in NYC, I went to a quick store to get directions, when I first moved into NYC, came out and heard a loud pop, I wasn't in it but I saw it. No one got hurt but it was still kinda sterotypical of NY.

Everytime I get behind a vehicle that has the flag draped across the bumper or dragging in the exhaust fumes I want to pop a gasket. I am aware of the correct ways to fly a flag so please let's not get into that. Just answer this...Are people who abuse the flag just "fair weather" patriots or well meaning albeit misguided citizens.

if a juvenile was detained in a juvenile dentention center until the hearing, and if the parents get a lawyer to defend their child during the trial, can the juvenile discuss anything with the lawyer while being detained? Or is that left to the parents? thanks

Hi there, I am from Canada and have a criminal record which I have not yet been pardoned for. I am elligible in 3 years. Pardons.org has told me I am elligable for a waiver though. Its tough getting a decent job anywhere with a record. Canada is actually pretty strict with this. I am actually having a really tough time in my city getting a job in any kind off inance because of record. I want to enter the U.S now; will I have problems getting hired at financial firms? i.e bank, brokerages etc. I have not been printed by the U.S. I'm told Canada forwards my info to them though.

Okay, so a couple weeks ago my brother and I were at the mall and he had his hand on a random car door and this lady thought he was trying to rob her car, and because I was with him, I was charged with the same conviction (attempted burgulary) obviously, theres no use in questioning anything anymore, and I have 75 Communtiy Service hours, and its on my record, by the way I'm fifteen. But, I am a straight A student, and my life dream is to become a Politician!!! I want to do something dealing with Politics. My father is a lawyer my uncle is on office in Pennsylvania and I just have a passion for politics and I would really like for someone to let me know, because I have this on my record will I be able to do what I love and dream. Politics isnt for CRIMINALS and I am so ashamed and its really, really bugging me!! I want to be on congress or do something thats really interests me and I have read so much and done so much to further my knowledge to prepare me and idk If it matters anymore.

COLUMBUS - Hoping to shelve a new law restricting their operations before it can take effect, strip-club owners and their performers have launched a repeal petition effort.

Ohio's adult entertainment industry has created a political action committee called Citizens for Community Standards, a play on the name of the conservative Cincinnati-based Citizens for Community Values that championed the new law limiting the hours of such businesses and imposing a stricter "no-touch" rule.

Sandy Theis, a consultant for the clubs, said the money behind the effort to put the issue to voters on Nov. 6 will initially come from club owners, but she believes there will be public support.

"I was surprised at the public support for the dancers and their opposition to pesky conservatives from Cincinnati telling the rest of the state what to do," she said. "People don't like that."

Tomorrow, we're going to have a debate in speech class. I was wondering what I could use because it's about abortion being illegal and I'm one of the people that are FOR THAT (it was assigned by the teacher). We're supposed to use evidence and facts and all. We're also supposed to ask questions that may stump the ones against making abortion illegal.

What questions can I ask?
&What can I say to fight?

The ones against making abortion illegal will also be asking questions toward me (the one who WANTS to make abortion illegal). So she said to be prepared. But I have no clue what questions they might ask. Any Ideas?
