There seems to be a lot of anti-Chavez sentiment. Obviously, the US coporations and politicians in power hate him because he constantly attacks them in the media and spoils their aggressive foreign policy in South America. But what do regular Americans think? Do they even know anything about him and his socialist policies, or do they just get brain-washed into mindlessly hating Chavez due to the biased media in the USA? (I'm not an American, by the way, so I was just wondering.)

Hello Group,

I'm going to be sponser for my parents and I'm required to mail copy of citizenship of my brothers and sisters I have in the US to the immigration office. Now, the problem is that my so-called sister doesn't want to give her citizenship's copy since she believes it is illegal to make a copy.

My quesetion is what would be solution. on one hand, this is required to be submitted to the INS and on other hand she says it is not doable.

Your help will be appreicated.

I doesn't seem like I do and I was the victim. This guy pulled out of a parking space without looking and t-boned us. He damaged our car where it is not even driveable. The ENTIRE wreck was captured on video,but mall security will not release the tape to my insurance company because they say that it is on private property. What is the puropose of having mall security and security camras when they absolutly don't do anything to help? How can I get this tape to the insurance company?

These days I heard the media using the words: " People living under the shadow". Nobody ever say a word on behalf of those waiting ,overseas to get their immigrating documents to be processed. Those are the people that are under the shadow. How long it takes to get an immigrating visa ? The immigrating applicants are the ones that suffers the most. Wives and husband, sometimes son and daughters are waiting to get reunited, legally? I feel their pain for being silent and patient.

The media in the country never mention them because they are overshadowed by lawbreakers, bargainers.

Without the law, there is only chaos. Those who are seeking legal entrance to the US must be rewarded and not being apparently seen as idiots. Illegal means what it means. We cant take no as a yes.When a woman said she has said no, the court takes her testimony as it is.

Likewise ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION MEANS WHAT IT SAYS AND THEREFORE, NO REWARD FOR THOSE WHO DO NOT UNDERSTAND NO AS IT WAS SAID.

Ok we were at a funeral (my grandfather), 2 soldiers were there to mourn him. Once the funeral was over we greeted them. The soldiers shook hands with my dad, my uncles, and my boy cousins. They also shook hands with my aunt. However they did not, they actually refused to shake hands with my great aunt... my (as of now) late grandfather's sister. Is there some code thing or a specific reason that they could not shake her hand or were they too busy to notice that she offered it to them? I con-fuzzled. Any ideas would be of help. By the way... she was in no way repulsive and there was nothing that seemed wrong with her apperance.

Some Republicans who opposed the bipartisan bill said that they needed a show of credibility on immigration from the President, and suggested that it come in the form of a request for increases in spending for border security and enforcement.

It's interesting to me that a Republican wants a guarantee of MORE government spending before he supports a bill. Isn't the party line "less government?"
