Based on immigration statistics from around the world I would have to conclude that The United States of America is hands down the best country on earth.

-More people immigrate to America every year than are "native born" in Britain, France, Germany, Spain, and Italy every year.

I have only been to England and Ireland so I don't know what the rest are like. I am not planning on doing a world tour with other peoples expenses like Gerry and Kate.

Each to their own i suppose. Having travelled extensively I've appreciated every country i have visited;albeit not always liked some of the cultural diversities. Have to disagree with the USA, though-or maybe i am being biased due to their foreign policy. I would suggest it's such a vast continent;so why do they wish to take over the rest of the world-USA IMPERIALISM.

A stupid and ambiguous question. Clearly all individuals answering this will point to their native lands, duh. I notice a lot of answers for the USA. Well then,

I'll tell you why it's NOT the USA:

1. They illegally invaded and tried to occupy Iraq, erm they couldn't do that properly.

2. They tried to do Vietnam over, erm look what happened.

3. They have the dumbest president in the world (that's one thing we can all agree on)

4. They invented McDonald's, And that's as much history you are going to get from such baby nation.

5. No History

6. Stole the land from the Native Indians- Thats not nice is it?

I could go on and on and on here, but I won't. Suffice to say, I'm sure USA is a nice country, but to call it the best is just plain stupid. I mean what sort of country allows free reign on fire arms then wonders why psychopaths go around places shooting everyone?

ASK A REAL QUESTION NEXT TIME, NOT A DUMB ONE.

Peoples that never traveled, will say their homeland is the best... luckily for me I do have travelled far away and comming back home has given me nausea... Just so many things are artificial over here, I can't just believe it... So many people work to create their own problems, while others in this world have REAL problems... Its just sadden me to see how inequal was the world... But they are peoples living in poor countries that are much more happier in their life than we will ever become with all the money in the world can provide...

Anyways, that is my point of view, and I am waiting for the thumbs down...
As for which country is the best, it depends on the way you see the world...

Well being from the USA (and I don't chant it), and going through Hurricane Katrina and speaking with hundreds of volunteer's from other countries, I remember them repeatedly saying, "would you people stop saying Thank You?" I thought that spoke tons for us, but we are in the Southern Part of the US, and hospitality is what we are known for, just an opinion. I think it is the people, not the country per se'
