I just started working in a medical office...every day drug reps come in and give free lunch, starbucks, jamba juice...some times breakfast and dinners with the doctors at least twice a week. All office supplies come from these people too... so is that right? Are they swaying the doctors judgment on the drugs they give you?

As we all know from our Bible readings many thousands of Jews lived in Iraq for thousands of years. It was only when Saddam came to power that they were all kicked out. So like Israel they have a lot of roots in Iraq but almost more importantly an Israeli ruled Iraq would solve so many of Bush's problems in Iraq.

-It would gaurantee a US friendly non-radical Muslim state.
-It would gaurantee no Iraqi terrorist state.
-It would make it much easier for Israel to invade/attack Iran's nuclear program.
-Israel wouldn't have to ever worry about being attacked by Iraq.
-An Israeli controlled Iraq could cut off Iranian supplying Hezbollah in Lebannon.
-They could build a bunch of walls like they did on the West Bank to keep Iraqis from fighting each other.

Could that be any more of a win-win situation for the US & Israel?

Gimme a break. Any attempt to build a fence or any other barrier that had a reasonable chance of success would have at a minimum been bogged down by one or more environut or open borders group filing suit and tying it up in the courts.

His approval rating may suck, but I think Bush wins, hands down. His resting heart rate is something like 55. Mine wasn't that in high school, and I ran track. In his prime, I would take Fidel, but now, I think Bush is in to good of shape.

Only from Politics and government category and not from others categorys where it was.

all designed to make you believe that government should have more power than it already has, so that it can create more of the disasters we are accustomed to:
10. My new program will generate jobs. : only the market generates jobs on net.
9. My education program will reform schools so that they leave no child behind.
T: the public schools do not work very good for the same reason no government program can work. They exist outside the market economy.
8. My program will save industry x. Truth: industry must be part of the market or else it is not really industry at all.
7. I won't raise your taxes but I will pass lots of new programs: Truth: all programs must be paid for.
6. As president, I will pursue a humble foreign policy.
: nothing in the office of the president encourages humility.
5. This war is humanitarian and winnable.
: war is nothing but a government program on a massively destructive scale, and just as error prone.
4. My reform will bring market-based competition. Be on the lookout for this lie, which market partisans are likely to believe. There is only one kind of genuine market, and it is rooted in private property and nothing else.
3. We will secure the nation. T: government cannot provide security better than markets, any more than it can provide food or houses better than the market.
2. Government is compassionate. T: men who seek power over the lives of others are the coldest, cruelest humans of all.
1. You can't love your country and hate your government. T: A person who loves his country loves liberty first.
One hundred years from now, the great story of the latter part of the 20th century and the first part of the 21st century will be the vast improvements in life wrought by technology. Consider the web, the cell phone, the PDA, the affordable laptop computer, advances in medicine, and the spread of prosperity to all corners of the globe. What has government had to do with this? The answer is: nothing contributory. It has worked only to impede progress, and we can only be thankful that it hasn't succeeded.
Through all of human history, governments have caused frightening levels of bloodshed and horror, but in the end, what has prevailed is not power but the market economy. Even today governments can only play catch-up. This is because of the reasons that Mises outlined. Government cannot control the human mind, so it cannot, in the long run, control the choices people make. It cannot control economic forces, which are a far more powerful and permanent feature of the world than any government anyway.

i have been paying an association fee for the condo i own that is suppose to include air conditioning, but since march, there has been no heat or air conditioning. the association required us to pay to get these new units they want to put in so it had to be shut off. some of the floors are rented out and some are owned. the renters were given free window air units and the owners were told we had to pay $130 to get the unit and to have it installed. is this right? not only am i still paying the full utilities, but they raised the fee $10. i don't think we should have to pay. the weather can get in the hundreds and they say we won't have anything until early september. can they do this?

I had an accident last December. The other car hit me in the back of driver side. I swear to God that he ran the red light and hit me. It was my first accident so I had no idea what to do. Somehow he got a witness to give the cops statement saying that she saw me ran the red light and cause the other guys to hit me. I didn't get to find any witnesses for me because I knew that I wasn't at fault but I was wrong. The cop believed her lie and gave me citation for ran the red light. I went to the court and was so surprise to see the witness there. I swear I never saw her at the accident scene. I couldn't believe my ears when I heard what she told the judge. Thanks God, the judge didn't believe her BS and found me not guilty for my citation. However, my insurance company had put the liability on me because of the police report and the statement from the witness. Now I'm stuck with rate increasing and at fault accident on my driving record. Can I do anything about it?

Hi. I am a madman with serious revenge issues. Recently I was taking my dog for a walk and the lead got caught up on a fish and chip shop sign. I dragged the lead because I was pissed off that the sign was in the middle of the pavement. Nocked down their sign. Then was tackled to the ground and beaten up.

Anyway, the next night I broke their window with an axe, but did not harm any of the aholes. So, I need an RPG to launch at the fish and chip shop for attacking me, to end their miserable lives. I thought of sniping them, but then I would get caught by police,

Republicans did not defend him, but most voted against moving the resolution ahead.

Monday's vote was not the end of scrutiny for Gonzales and his management of the Justice Department -- more congressional hearings are scheduled and an internal department investigation continues.

The Bushies would not vote for the bid of no confidence but they could not defend Gonzo. . Is this an example of partisan politics of sticking to party lines regardless of what is right?
